It was great, they was very responsive and I was happy with the stay I tried booking again, but it was already booked!!! That’s how you know this is the place to stay. I was actually worried to post a good review because then they could be booked all the time and I’d never get a chance to book again 😂

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom beach house at 401 Admiral Drive in Gun Barrel City, TX. The property is perfect for a family getaway — our group of 10 stayed comfortably for two days and had an amazing experience. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything in great working condition. The backyard is truly a highlight — spacious and peaceful with direct access to the water, a fishing dock, and a beach volleyball setup. We also enjoyed water sports right from the property, which made it even more special. The owner, Shinu, was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they really care about the guest experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and family-friendly escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The house is way larger than it appears! The backyard has plenty to do and it is excellent size. This is the perfect Airbnb for a family with young children. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. I actually grew up in this neighborhood and we come back once a month for work and we will be staying here again.

Very nice place to chill and enjoy the peacefulness by the water. Charlene was super responsive to any questions and super quick with her reply. Place was immaculate in cleanliness as well as the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as sitting out watching the boats go by out of the big lake. A great place for a family stay. We loved the layout and style of the home. Everything you need for a home away from home holiday. Gun barrel city is a great town that is really close by. The beds are comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. Well thought out property

This stay was absolutely the best! The most peace I've gotten in a while and the home was amazing it had everything we needed!

It was PERFECT. Very cozy, beautiful, comfortable, and Mario thought of EVERYTHING. He even provided a kennel in the living room to put our two dogs, a Chihuahua mix, and an Austrailian Shepherd, so we didn't have to lug our big kennels in from the truck. And the biggest deal for me: DIMMER SWITCHES! Do you know how many times I have wished for dimmer switches on lighting at AirBnB's? And Mario had them on EVERY ceiling light AND in the bathroom! I'm a blue-eyed guy, a little light sensitive at night and this and other features made me so comfortable! We had a dear friend over to dinner and Mario had everything in the kitchen we needed to cook grass-fed rib eye steaks! I found the bed extremely comfortable. No back problems at all the next morning. Heads up for some folks, it is a 3rd floor unit, which I loved because of the deck off the back, but for some you will need to take your time on the stairs. However, my friend's 80+ year old mother was able to make it up with some help.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our family has property on Lake Palestine right around the corner to visit with family during the day. It was very convenient and comfortable to come to each night for a peaceful night. I really like the natural products provided for us - hand soap, lotion and cleaning spray. Our host responded quickly to some minor needs. We plan to stay here next time we are in the area.

This was a wonderful experience. The home is beautiful and the location is lovely. Bill is a great communicator and we felt very welcome. I highly recommend this location.

Everything was great!

Kay place was nice and looked like the pictures. It was clean and she was very responsive to any question we had. The only thing that she did not mention was it is 5 dollars a day to park at the apartment and we had 2 trucks there so we had to remember to log in and pay. Not a big deal or a deal breaker just would have been nice to know. If you like the lake and the bass pro shop its great and it close to othe attractions. We will stay again

We had a wonderful time and loved this spot so much! Kristi was amazing with any questions and the house was fully stocked with whatever we needed. Outside the lake was wonderful with kayaks and rafts to keep you busy for days. We will definitely be booking again. We enjoyed every minute of it!

This was our 2nd trip to the cabin, & as before, it didn’t disappoint. Chris is Great! He’s extremely accommodating & very easy to get ahold of. The Serenity of this place is Amazing; & just what I needed to help in the process of recently losing my Son. No noise, no people…just absolute peace & quiet. We’ll definitely be back…

We can’t say enough about this place. It was just what we needed for rest and relaxation. We are Airbnb hosts ourselves and really needed a close little weekend getaway. It definitely fit the bill. We will most definitely be back.!!!

If you need a relaxing time to reboot, this is the place to do it. Our stay was wonderful and a perfect getaway to unwind and reconnect with nature. The hosts were very kind, responsive, engaging and really had the property set up nicely. The hosts communicated well, gave easy, straightforward instructions upon arrival and made our time overall very pleasant. The house was comfortable, well setup, very clean and homey. And the beds..so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with everything one would need to cook and relax! Now for the private lake: We had access to a very nice boat with a trolling motor and batteries. We were able to get setup quickly and easily after some brief instructions from the host. The fishing was awesome! We caught fish every day using a variety of techniques, mainly plastic frogs up in the bank vegetation. The host gave us some valuable information on the lake. The sunsets from the boat and dock were stunning! Highly recommend! I will definitely rebook!

Great location. Very quiet and peaceful area. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. He was very flexible with us. We had a last minute cancelation and Vic was able to accommodate us and offered easy check-in and check-out times. Nicely equipped kitchen and great air conditioning. We caught plenty of fish in the pond. I will stay here again.

The home was absolutely incredible—spacious, spotless, and tucked away in a beautiful, private setting with plenty to do nearby. Sherry was an outstanding host—communicative, helpful, and incredibly understanding. This AirBnB had everything you could possibly need or want, plus a few thoughtful extras you wouldn’t even think of. I genuinely have no complaints. The only minor hiccup was finding the right house at first—the side facing the street wasn’t the front entrance, which threw me off a bit. But the locals were amazing and really helped us out, even sharing info on local events. If you’re looking for a peaceful lake getaway, this place is a hidden gem—and for the price, it’s hard to beat. I’d absolutely come back!

Great place, good area, and good neighbors. The only question I had unanswered from reading the previous reviews was the fishing area and quality. I didn’t see much info and had to make an educated guess… although I’m sure I could have just as easily asked the owners. The fishing was great. Good dock and my son and I fished at day and night ( bring an underwater light) and we caught a lot. Crappie, sand and striped bass, and catfish. The Dock restaurant near by is really good. We enjoyed it and will look for this place first for the next trip.
