Lake Red Rock fishing places to stay

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my Mother’s life. The tranquility was healing. We really appreciated the space for family to gather and the children loved all the outdoor space. They have done an amazing job of stocking the house with everything you can think of….games, towels, bathroom amenities, etc.

This beautiful home fit our needs perfectly for a multi generational 'girls' weekend. The pictures do not do the space justice. Impeccably decorated and extremely comfortable. Everyone had plenty of space whether we were cooking, eating or relaxing. The outdoor living space was our favorite. Mara was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this home and we look forward to returning!

This is a beautiful home with all amenities as described. It’s a bit of a walk into town but otherwise fine. Love the fact Alexa everywhere which was useful for music and timings. We have 2 grown up kids, so 4 adults and 1 bathroom was a stretch at times. Mellisa answered my queries almost instantly. Thoroughly recommend a stay here !!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We came to bike the trails and explore Pella. To our surprise it was just a quick bike ride to the beautiful paved Volksweg Trail from Kelly's place! It seemed we were about in the middle of the trail, so it worked great that one morning we rode one direction, and the next rode the other direction! Beautiful trail to bike. Was nice we could leave our bikes in the garage when we drove in to explore Pella. Also was nice in the morning and the evening to sit outside and listen to all the birds singing! We were there one week after the Tulip Festival. The majority of the tulips were past their prime, but the town has quite a variety of shops to explore and a beautiful town square. Would recommend staying at Kelly's place and exploring Pella and the Volksweg Trail!

This was our second time staying at Abby's beautiful abode. We look forward to visiting The kids really loved seeing the ducks, geese, turtles and rabbits in addition to the catch and release fish. The house is beautiful and relaxing with lovely views of the water. Safe and friendly neighborhood.

Lots of space and beautiful scenery. We probably caught over 100 fish! We had great nights by the fire with plenty of wood and seating. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were more than comfortable. We loved our stay and enjoyed being outdoors and away from the daily routine living life like it should be! A beautiful place I’ll be talking about for many times to come!

We stayed here the weekend of our daughter's wedding. It was relatively close to the venue and had plenty of space for us to unwind and cook a few meals. We appreciated the close proximity the town square. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home.

Our family had a great time! The kids had a blast fishing and swimming in the pond. It’s definitely a great spot to get away from the business of life.

This is the third time we have rented the house for our adult children during a visit and everything was perfect. We really appreciate how nice the house is and how well the hosts communicated with us each visit! By far one of the best rentals near the lake!

Our family had a wonderful time visiting Cole’s Airbnb. It was a great location and made our stay visiting family really fun! We enjoyed visiting the park, seeing the lake from the back yard, and all of the space the home had to offer. Cole was very responsive to any questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again!

This was a great place for our family to stay while in town for a wedding! Nice and clean and spacious.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! Communication before our arrival was excellent, and the check-in instructions were super clear and easy to follow. The home itself was absolutely gorgeous—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. One of our favorite features was that each bedroom had its own private bathroom, which made getting ready a breeze and gave everyone plenty of privacy. The layout was perfect for our group of six, and we especially enjoyed gathering around the large dining room table for board games. The game room downstairs was a big hit too, with a pool table and classic arcade games! The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and peaceful—ideal for a relaxing getaway. Small touches like the round ball ice cubes for our cocktails really stood out and were a fun favorite among our group. Having three TVs with streaming services was also a great bonus! We were beyond happy with our stay & would love to come back! Wish our weekend could have lasted at least a few more days!

Loved our stay. 2 days there were 13 of us definitely tested the capacity lots of room. My husband and I added a day , he seldom gets summer vacations. Bring blankets especially if people sleeping on couches. More kitchen stocking if doing a lot of cooking. The house was awesome one level especially the game room extra space. Two sleeper sofa’s would work in there. Lots of room for large groups. Fire pit and pool absolutely great. Patio and two doors on the poolside was very useful. I did call Douglas with a few questions, very accommodating and friendly.

This was the perfect place for our family during our recent visit to Des Moines. The location was perfect for us and we loved how peaceful the “neighborhood” was and the huge yard for our young boys. The home was super clean and had everything we needed. Patricia was a fantastic host making us feel welcome and at home. We appreciated her communication with us- from instructions to providing age-appropriate toys for our young boys. We definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying here again.

This was a great find out in the country! We watched the sunset from the patio and listened to the rooster and sounds of nature. Easy check-in and it was even nicer and more homey than the photos. It had all the amenities we needed. The bed was ultra-comfortable. And the best doggo in the world greeted us upon our arrival and again as we were leaving, he is a treasure. Thanks for hosting us and we hope to stay again someday.

This was a beautiful little get away. It was so nice to be unplugged from the world and just rest in this restful spot. The hammocks in the trees were peaceful as you heard the birds chirp and watch them fly around. The lighting at night was beautiful perfect for walking the area and getting to the conservatory. Would recommend to friends for a weekend getaway. And will be back in the fall when the leaves are changing colors! Hosts were friendly and gave perfect recommendations for us to eat at as well as visit. Will be back!

The Guesthouse was cozy, neat, and clean. We loved the location--close to town, yet in an idyllic country setting. We were greated with some baked treats from the local bakery. The king bed was amazingly comfortable. Loved the birdfeeder on the back deck. The various birds who visited were fun to watch. It was peaceful to sit out there with our coffee, watch the birds, hear the birdsongs, and we even spoted a red fox and her baby! I'm particularly fond of meadowlarks and enjoyed hearing them nearby. Jen was very responsive when we had trouble logging in to Hulu. Nice stay! Thank you!

Nice place to get away and relax. If you are a music person, you will love the built in Bluetooth stereo system. I would like to come back in warmer weather and bring some friends/family along to enjoy the games, pond, etc.

We have stayed at several different rentals and this one was by far the best! Elizabeth was great at communicating; flexible and gracious with a possible change in plans. The home is unbelievable! So beautiful with several thoughtful touches. The use of space is very well done. Easy to feel right at home!

This was a phenomenal property! I wasn't sure before booking, due to the shared space aspect of the place, but it was not a problem at all. Even though the owners are on site (in the other, smaller house), they were unobtrusive. Jayden was very quick to respond to messages, and she was flexible with our requests. The space itself is a dream. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit are amazing. We also loved the amount of bathrooms and bedrooms on property. We had 9 guests in our group, but we never felt crammed at all. It was a spectacular stay all around!
