Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Lake Ohrid

Our stay at Arben’s Airbnb was absolutely perfect in every way! Arben was super friendly and made us feel right at home! He offered to pick us up from the station, and ensured we left Pogradec safely after our stay. When we arrived he was gracious enough to gift us some of his own wine, and traditional Albanian tea! (It was delicious) The apartment was fantastic, especially the view from the balcony. Pogradec itself was a blast! The flat was only a very short walk away from the beach and nearby to restaurants and shops. This has been the best value stay I’ve ever had and could not recommend Arben’s AirBnB enough!!

I’d give 6 stars if I could! Anita and Ulrich’s apartment is great and they are wonderful hosts. They’re incredibly friendly and welcoming, and were always responsive to answer any questions I had. The apartment is in a great location, multiple shops nearby, a market and restaurants. Everything you might want to visit like the lake, the old town, Kaneo, are all only a short walk away. The apartment is clean and has absolutely everything you may need. I stayed for just over a month and it was perfect. If you are doing remote work the apartment is perfect for that. The internet is fast and I never had issues with it dropping out. Already looking forward to coming back!

Goran was a very responsive host and the place was exactly as advertised. Perfect for a few days short stay in Ohrid.

If you don't know the neighborhood at first, you may have some difficulty finding the location. walking distance to ohrid bazaar. You live in the middle floor of a 3-storey house. The landlords live upstairs and downstairs. they said we made a lot of noise when closing the doors on the first night. In the middle of the night, we were nationalized with a harsh tone and were stunned. this was not pleasant at all. Our other friends who were sleeping woke up because of the insistent knock on the door. Regarding the doors, we found it strange to come from the upper floor while our friends in the house were sleeping without being disturbed. Apart from that, they have a very sweet dog who always welcomed us very nicely. thanks to Maja and Bruno

We had a great stay here! The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The free parking spot right in front of the apartment was incredibly convenient for us with car. I appreciated the ability to cook and do laundry, which made it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the washing machine was a real bonus. Moreover, this place is budget-friendly, offering excellent value for money. Ev geniş. 2 gün kaldım. Araba park edeceğiniz yer var. Bahçesinden 24 saat kaynak suyu akıyor. Dolaptan su bile içmedik. Çok lezzetli. Teşekkür ediyorum ev sahipliği için. Her sorumu cevaplandırmaya çalıştı.

Nous nous sentons un peu coupable d’avoir oublié de laisser une super note pour notre séjour 2023 !! Erisa, Sogot et leur adorable famille sont des hôtes accueillant qui vous accueille avec le sourire et prennent soin de vous. On aime discuter en anglais/français/albanais, avec un outil de traduction … Bref passer du temps et se connaître. Nous recommandons vivement

The place is a lovely getaway, its in a quiet little bay with old houses that most of the old owners build themselves. If you want a luxury experience this is not the place, however if you want an amazing authentic Balkan lakeside experience this is definitely the place. The owner, Filip, was extremely helpful and friendly. The area is beautiful and it truly feels like you are in a remote village with all its charms.

I've stayed in Ohrid several times—in four different locations. This one was perfect. It was close to the lake and only a few minutes to the attractions in the old town. She was super receptive and handled all my needs, including taking me to and from the bus station. I really appreciated it. I recommend it. There was no washing machine there, but she washed and dried my laundry herself, which was very kind. I'd stay there again.

Well, this place is a hidden gem in this beautiful part of the world. The house is wonderfully designed by the owners themselves, with lovely views and surroundings. Radmila and Mitko were very responsive and proactive , giving us many useful recommendations. We loved our stay at the brilliant Paskali Villa. We will be back!

That was the best holiday I’ve ever had. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. Kitchen was clean and comfortable. It has everything you might need. The view to the lake was spectacular. Especially on sunset. Huge terrace and even bigger garden. Perfect place to be on quiet and peaceful vacation. And also really romantic spot. It’s in 15 minutes walk from the lake and 5 minutes with a car. We were with our dog and she spent most of the time in the garden. She loved it so much. The harden was fenced which was really important for us because we have a husky that loves to escape 😃. Ilina’s parents and grandparents are the kindest and warmest people you’ll meet. They welcomed us with coffee and we even played cards together. We’ll remember them forever. Aaand we’ll for sure be back soon because it felt like home.

Nocleg u Gordany był czystą przyjemnością. Mieszkanie jest czyste i położone w pięknej okolicy. Łóżka są bardzo bardzo wygodne. Bardzo polecamy pobyt w tym miejscu, było naprawdę super !

Ime apartmana apsolutno odgovara,pogled iz sobe i balkona je predivan! Smještaj se nalazi u hotelu i nalazi se blizu Starog grada. Svakako preporučam ovo mjesto. Ispijanje kafe na balkonu sa pogledom na cjelo jezero i grad,sa plažama u blizini...savršeno!!

Genta est une hôte adorable qui se soucie de votre bien-être. Elle n’a pas hésité à prendre de son temps pour nous emmener à la plage la plus proche. Tout était parfait. Le logement est bien situé, confortable et propre. Tout est fidèle à la description ! Je recommande vivement !

I stayed in Sofija’s beautiful home for a month while I worked remotely from Ohrid. The WiFi was very fast and reliable. The apartment has a lot of character and is one of the more pleasant places I’ve stayed in years of traveling. I loved being a little set back from the lake so I got to walk through the town to run errands, and getting to be in a quieter, residential part of the town. Sofija was a lovely host who made me feel right at home. Ohrid now has a very special place in my list of places I’ve been, in no small part to this very pleasant home. Would recommend to any solo travelers or couples, and would gladly stay again!
