Waterfront vacation rentals in Lake Ohrid

Our stay in Sonja's apartment was absolutely amazing! The view from the balcony was stunning and as the apartment is in the old town, everything is within walking distance. The apartment itself was perfect for our stay and everything we needed was there! Sonja and her family were very nice and helped us with recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing! Sonja herself has a souvenir shop just outside the house where she sells beautiful handmade wood carvings! Overall, I would highly recommend this place for the perfect holiday!

This is a couple traveling for a long time. I was the best host during my trip. If you're looking at the listing, make a reservation soon. It is right in front of the lake and has restaurants and supermarkets around, making it the best place to stay for a month. Thank you so much for waiting for the host to wait at the bus terminal to take you to the accommodation and explain how to use the accommodation supplies. Please always respond quickly and kindly and take care of your guests so that they can stay comfortably. I would like to thank you again Next time I come to Ohrid again, I want to stay.

The host provided wine and liqueur. Large space. Kitchen facilities are good. Washing clothes is very convenient.

I'm just starting with two "negative" things. 1) Pellets are needed for the stove, as it is more comfortable for the client and more romantic, (but not really necessary for heating). 2) A larger hot water tank is needed for the bathtub, as hot water is used up quickly. Now we are talking about the benefits of the environment. ☺️ It was a luxurious, cozy apartment, with ample space and comfort. The apartment was a romantic place, where the lights and the bathtub with hot water had a great effect. The bed was king size, spacious and comfortable, heating with a large central air conditioner that was sufficient for heating the environment. (The stove is needed more for romance). It was a very clean environment and everything was shiny. I highly recommend this place and if you want to spend a nice night, choose it. Shaida was also always ready to answer any questions we had. (I would suggest that you welcome guests with something, maybe a small bottle of wine and some snacks) See u Agai

The appartmen was very nice, with modern appliances and lots of storage space. It's very easy to find and it is worth the value for what it's offering. You are in a very peaceful area and you can just cross the street and relax on the lake shore(you can also see the lake from the balcony) The city of Peshtani is at 10-15 minutes of walking distance and you can find a couple of restaurants to eat something fast. Nikola is a great host and has great recommendations to what you can visit and eat around Ohrid.

Bibi is very friendly, she wrote down the answers to all the questions I could think of and ask before I came home. He responded to my questions very quickly and understandingly. Everything was very nice, the house is right in the back street of the lake and you are in the old town with a 10-15 minute walk. The location is very nice, easy to find and very quiet. Our stay in Ohrid was really perfect! Although we arrived late, our host was extremely kind and understanding. Our check-in was very easy and everything went smoothly. The next morning, when we wanted to do laundry, we realized there was no laundry rack in the house. Shortly after sharing the situation, he had us buy a new laundry and detergent and left it at our door — it was so impressive to see such thoughtful and quick support. The house is literally like it jumped out of Pinterest! The decoration was very tasteful, clean and equipped to meet all needs. We felt very comfortable and safe. Thank you so much for everything. A great home and a great host where you can stay with peace of mind!

Adrienne has a very lovely little house in a really great location, just steps from the pedestrian mainstreet and the lakefront, and only a short stroll to the historical sites on the hillside. It can be a little chilly in the winter months, but otherwise the house was great and Adrienne was willing to help with anything I needed, including making some inquiries about buses. Overall a very nice stay!

The location on the mountain above the lake is spectacular, the terrace with the breathtaking view is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The hostess' recommendation for the rustic local restaurant in the village was great, we totally enjoyed the delicious Macedonian dishes. There were two of us visiting with a dog and we were very pleased that our furry friend was also welcome. Since there are some stairs to climb to the entrance area, organized luggage is recommended😜. We did not use the bedroom in the roof because the pull-out stairs make access to the lower bedroom and bathroom difficult. The cottage is a wonderful starting point to visit Lake Ohrid. Morning coffee and evening wine in the tranquility of the mountain village and the indescribable view from the terrace make the stay something special. The host always answered our questions quickly and helpfully.

The best host that we have ever had. Communication is perfect and they always answer quickly. We took a bus from Skopje to Ohrid where they came to pick us up from the bus station. During our stay they always helped us with everything they could and more. I could not imagine a better place! The space is as described. clean, right in the center, stores and the lake. Definitely worth a stay!!

When you arrive, you might think: where are we going? But once you get there, you’ll find a truly lovely, secluded spot that looks absolutely beautiful, neat, and well-kept. The cottage has everything you could wish for. And as a bonus: the host is amazing. She responds quickly, is helpful, and very thoughtful. She also helped us a lot with where we could park in Ohrid. All in all, we had a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

An amazing location! Right in the middle of old town with many sights in close walking distance. Dad was very nice and helpful when checking us in. Only con: We arrived on Sunday and driving into old town was shut. We ended up having to pay for parking which was not a huge amount but was a bit confusing and unexpected

This is our second stay at VillaChristina and we loved it just as much this time! The view from the living room is spectacular! The location is great, we walked everywhere and enjoyed a lot of the restaurants around. The beds are super comfortable, mattresses lovely, down duvets and super soft bedsheets offers a great night. We love the Nespresso machine and this time we even brought capsules with us as we knew we would take great advantage. Christina gave multiple advice on where to dine and we especially enjoyed Fresh fine Devine, it really is a must visit in Ohrid! We hope to visit again soon!

This is definitely a place what we called a home. With the best scenery of Lake Ohrid, clean and cozy to stay, this is the best choice to stay. 5 star. Jovana and her father help us during our check in process. And parking is at the back of the apartment. You will not regret to stay here. It is a gem in the area

With Mirajet, you definitely have a helpful and loving host!! The apartment was very nice and above all very clean. We felt right at home and she was available at any time. Especially for German guests, a very good recommendation from me. The location is great and there are very good restaurants nearby. All in all, definitely a top address!

We enjoyed staying at Antonela`s place. Antonela is kind and ready to help if anything is needed. The apartment is clean, well equipped and close to the lake beach. The neighborhood is quiet and the garden is very nice.
