Io e la mia ragazza ci siamo fermati una settimana e ci siamo innamorati di Playa Santana e della realtà a casa di Jon! Il mare è a solo due passi da casa quindi ci si addormenta al suono delle onde. La spiaggia lunga offre tramonti incredibili e cieli stellati magnifici. Per praticare surf si può andare a piedi lungo la spiaggia fino a Beginners Bay. Jon è un host accogliente, simpatico e attento ai tuoi bisogni, un ottimo anfitrione! Informative&friendly host, stunning&quiet place. Breakfast included was a surprise and it was lovely! Staff went above and beyond to help us. When we arrived we had a screw in our tire and an employee called a local repair man who came and fixed our tire the same day. We also had many ants in our room and an employee came and took care of it and changed all our bedding. I was very impressed with the amenities and the friendly, helpful staff. I only wish I had more time here!

What an absolutely wonderful stay. Casa la Selva was perfect for all our needs, we didn’t want for anything. The location was great, away from the “hustle and bustle” of SJDS, but restaurants and basic groceries totally accessible. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and Colorados and Panga Drops. Lulu the cat came to visit us everyday and James was a marvelous concierge - communicative and responsive, always almost immediately. We wish we could have stayed so much longer!

I enjoy my stay, the place is very quiet and peaceful, the 1 bedroom Cottage was perfect for a couple, I would definitely stay here again, Greg an Geidy were very helpful and allowed me to check is super late due to a flight delay, I hope next time I show up much earlier than that. Thank you both for the hospitality

The bedroom opens to a lush, sunlit terrace where I spent mornings enjoying coffee & evenings unwinding. The outdoor kitchen & dining setup added to the experience — cozy, clean, & well-equipped. I had full use of the space & found it both relaxing & functional, even for remote work thanks to strong Wi-Fi. The terrace felt private & serene, with greenery & birdsong all around. Mercedes is warm, respectful, & responsive, always ensuring I had what I needed while giving me plenty of space. Any brief interactions felt friendly, never intrusive. This isn’t a generic rental — it’s a thoughtfully curated space with heart. If you’re seeking peace, light, & character in a beautiful setting just outside the busy city, but close to the airport, this is the perfect spot. I’d absolutely return & recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, restorative stay.

Todos nos pareció muy bien , la muchacha Gerli muy muy amable en todo momento,solo llega muy poca agua a las ducha y eso fue un poco fustrante por los calores, pero lo demás todo muy muy bien

I had an amazing stay! Ana was really responsive pre arrival and Jorge, manager on site his the best host and always here to help. He guided me to the small volcano and it was a fantastic experience. I recommend it!

a mi novio y a mi nos a gustado mucho el lugar durante nuestra estadia en San juan del sur. La casa esta muy bien ubicada. Desde allí es muy fácil llegar al centro de la ciudad, a las calles principales, restaurantes y demás cosas. Maria fue una muy buena anfitriona, nos ayudaba cuando teníamos alguna duda/problema. Además nos daba siempre Tips, de lo que podíamos hacer durante nuestra estadía.

J’ai eu l’occasion de séjourner 3 nuits à la Casa Médusa. J’étais dans le dorms, un dortoir de 4 lits, un lit superposé et 2 lits simples. Une chambre tres agréable avec de l’espace. Il y a une cuisine commune avec tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner. Le plus de la Casa Médusa c’est la vue, 360 degrés sur les 2 plages de El Gigante. Je recommande fortement de séjourner chez Laura :)

Has to be one of the best if not the best experience I’ve had with airbnb. An absolute gem of a place, not to mention the pool that is surrounded by lush greener. Charlotte our host was more than welcoming and accommodating for us and was always available and happy to answer any of our questions. La Hacienda (restaurant next door) was also a highlight of our stay. The food was delicious (and did not upset our stomachs) and the servers were also so kind and attentive. On Saturday, we joined a dance class hosted by the restaurant and by charlotte. It was truly an amazing experience. We will definitely come back if charlotte has the space!

Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei Emi. Das Haus ist direkt am Strand und “Popoyo Main” ist einfach zu Fuß über den Strand erreichbar. Wir haben andere Surfer kennengelernt und alle zusammen haben wir Boattrips zum Surfen unternommen. Eine super Erfahrung und eine tolle Woche!! Emi kann mit allem helfen und hat zusätzlich verschiedene Boards in seiner Unterkunft, welche er verleiht. Ich hoffe, wir treffen uns irgendwann mal wieder.

Beautiful house in an amazing spot! The casita is a perfect studio and the pool is refreshing after coming in from the ocean. 10/10

This is my second time staying with Miki and it definitely won't be the last. She is the best host you could ever ask for. She is always super responsive and proactive. The house itself is perfect for two people. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and Miki is always giving recommendations for local events. The apt is super close to the beach. The internet works great.

Perfect. The casita is new, equipped to a high standard, private (totally separate from the house), and also tastefully designed. It is evident that the owner has invested a lot to provide the guests with as good an atmosphere as possible. There is a water purification system and an independent solar system (so no power outages - not trivial at all in Nicaragua) . The location is also good - central and allows you to walk a short distance to anywhere in the iguana complex. Highly recommended

Sweet spot, very comfortable bed.

The place was perfect! Just like it looked in photos. Out host was very attentive. We will definitely be going back.
