Hotel vacation rentals in Lake Monona

After a long day of travel, a drink and a comfortable bed were crucial. This place delivered! :) I got to meet both Rachel and Ray, and they were both friendly, but I was too tired to carry on much of a conversation, alas!

Very clean and simple units, exactly as advertised. There is a nice shared outdoor area too. Can’t beat the location, close enough to all the shops and restaurants downtown, yet far enough away where it’s quiet.

Very comfortable and conveniently located. This was my second stay and I will definitely keep returning. Helpful, communicative staff, and some of the most comfortable beds I have ever laid my head.

Friendly surroundings and charming building. Enjoyed fish fry Friday night at the bar downstairs watching the Packers. Noise wasn't too much of an issue at all. Easy to find and easy parking.

I had a great stay at the Marquette Hotel! The instructions were very clear and it really is perfect for a low maintenance traveler. The hotel is right next to a food co-op for groceries and the BCycle bike sharing station a short walk down Willy Street. It was very convenient to cycle to UW-Madison along the commuter trails or head to the beautiful Olbrich Park/Botanical Gardens. Marquette is such a cute and funky neighborhood with great bars and cafes. The room itself was a very big and unique space. There is a sink/microwave/mini-fridge and you just have to make sure to bring your own plates and utensils. I was a little nervous about noise levels after reading other reviews, but I did not find it too disruptive being right above the entryway of the hotel. Overall, it's a great place and the most affordable lodging I could find in Madison for a week during the early summer!

My father & I enjoyed our stay at Sally’s Airbnb. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Connie & Caleb in the office were very helpful (thanks for the popcorn!). The proximity to the Beltline was welcome and made it very easy to get around. I also want to thank Sally for accommodating our request to extend our stay. Overall, a great visit!

We had a work trip and this was the perfect place to stay at. Brian was so responsive and so easy to work with. Thank you so much and we will defiantly stay her again on our next trip

A nice place to rest

From checking in to checking out was a great experience. The lady who checked us in was absolutely fantastic. The room was clean and the whole place smelled fresh. Pool and hot tub were nice which we enjoyed. The breakfast had some nice surprises. A great oatmeal bar and a couple other items that were a great surprise. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay there again.

It was very quiet. I loved it. Big room nicely furnished. Had a small fridge. The property had a pool, hot tub, exercise room, laundry, outdoor seating, and a bistro. We would stay again

My wife and I stayed with Shane Acres for a night during the weekend. We loved our hosts and had a nice time having good conversation. The place was very clean and nicely kept. There are cats in the house so if you are allergic, you should know that. Other than that, the room itself was very nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable! For the first time ever, I felt like I was sleeping on my bed at home! The breakfast the next morning was ok, but the conversation with the fellow guests was very good. It is a beautiful property filled with peace and quiet. I would stay there again.

I was apprehensive to book a hotel on Airbnb, but it did not disappoint! Checked into the hotel like usual, as if booked through their official website. We were traveling with a 20m old, and the indoor “water park” area was incredible! Will absolutely stay here again. Great location in the dells!

Great location! Comfortable bed! Clean! Liked the two mirrors in the bathroom so one person can brush teeth and the other put on makeup.

This was the perfect getaway spot. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable night in. We had an amazing stay and are already looking forward to returning.

Perfect place to stay for a family get away

What a wonderful stay, location and rooms! We absolutely loved it. I appreciate all of the communication and responses from Sam, as well as Brittany being so responsive when we arrived! The rooms were sizable, bathroom very clean, and living space lovely with two sides of windows which created a beautiful breeze and view. Absolutely would stay here again! As feedback/recommendations - I think it could even have been better if there were more seating in the living space. One couch that seats 3 wasn't enough for 6 of us so we had to sit on floor. Maybe another small couch or two comfy chairs (and I don't mean the bar stools). In the bedroom nearest the door recommend a t.v. in that room; I felt bad some of the guests couldn't relax and watch t.v. in their room; also should turn the bed around so that you can fully enjoy the view versus it being up against the window. Those are just suggestions to enhance an already great place to stay! Thank you for being a great host.

Great location! Coffee shop right out front! Only negative was the pull outs were uncomfortable.

I had a great stay at the Chalet. It was super easy to find, and exactly as it was described. Melissa was great at texting me information prior to my arrival. Entry instructions were super easy. The bed was comfortable too. It was clean and quiet. Bonus...the walk up coffee stand across the parking lot was cute and served great coffee. I was staying there to ride along the Sugar River Trail and the access point was super close. And 'downtown' New Glarus was a 3 minute drive. Would certainly consider staying again if I was in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blanc Chalet. It was really clean, comfy and exactly what we needed for our weekend stay. The location is great, everything we needed was close by. The hosts made the check in & out process super simple and were great communicators. I really loved how it was decorated too. Highly recommend.
