Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Maggiore

We had a magical stay at Patrizia and Gigi’s. Thanks to them we lived a very special experience in an absolute breathtaking location. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the amenities and outdoor spaces are really nice. The hosts were very friendly, proactive and accommodating, yet we still enjoyed a lot of privacy and quiet.

A great place in the mountains to Lake Maggiore, quiet and relaxed environment. Also easy to reach with a larger car. Thank you for a lovely few days.

This place was perfect for our two nights in Lake Como! Could not beat that view and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of exploring. Host was easy to reach and had good instructions for check in. Would highly recommend a visit to Orrido di Vezio for a small hike and visit to the castle not too far away. All in all you couldn’t ask for anything more

Eleonora’s apartement is very comfortable with a beautiful view for the lake. She’s very kind and helpful during all our stay.

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the place very much. The nice thing was: Our dogs were also very welcome. The rooms were just sufficient from the square, but the garden is huge and the private swimming pool leaves nothing to be desired. The large outdoor kitchen is perfect for grilling, cooking and getting together. We would recommend the place right away and are already considering when we will go again:)

How disconnected can you be from nature? Thanks to Luciano, we were able to understand it. Staying in his accommodation was the perfect opportunity to get closer to nature, animal life, silence, and the coolness of the morning. Walking the path to reach the cabin is like living a magical fairy tale. The place is tidy and extremely clean. Luciano is kind and helpful. His adventure companion, Olèo, a very nice big dog. My partner and I needed to get away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. And the Baita nel Bosco turned out to be the ideal place. We only stayed two nights, but we will definitely be back. This time for longer. Thank you very much Luciano. Your life and your story are an example for everyone. See you soon.

The stay with Devid and Fabio was wonderful. The cottage is tastefully and modernly furnished, the beds are comfortable. There is a nice rain shower and the kitchen contains everything you need. But, the best thing is the view of Lake Como. What a beautiful panorama that is a little different every day. In the red book, Devid and Fabio have collected a lot of practical information and ideas for excursions, we have visited a number of them: without exception successful. In addition, Devid gave us all kinds of good advice and guided us well in the process of arrival and departure. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for that.

This beautiful cottage is in a wonderful location in the forest and we enjoyed living there in nature in simple conditions. We felt partly like we were in fairy tale land. During the week it was very quiet in the village, on the weekend, as described, some renovation work happened at the neighbors. The area is fantastic for hiking and excursions to the lake or to the Val Grande National Park. The hosts Adolfo and Christina are extremely friendly and helpful. Worth the path.

the place is ENCHANTING; it feels like going back in time, in fact, to stop the hustle and bustle of these chaotic and difficult days for a while. The cabin is perfectly tidy with everything you need for a peaceful stay. A special thank you to Mrs. Maggiorina for her hospitality, tips and stories about the pasture.

A rustic with top quality. Not too much and not too little. Tastefully and stylishly furnished. We felt SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, the stay was too short ....... but we will come back 100%. Bravo Fabio!

Laura was very accommodating and responded quickly to messages. I was also able to add a friend with her dog to the booking at short notice. When we arrived, we realized that there were no 2 single rooms, which, however, became too cramped for us. Laura refunded the surcharge without hesitation. The house was very clean and cozy and we felt very comfortable. The view of the lake of Mergozzo and the mountains is breathtaking. Thank you for this lovely stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this great nice forest house. Paola and Aldo are cheerful, hospitable and very helpful. Paola brought the most delicious gnocchi, pasta and local cookies and told us how to make the best pasta recipe using the fresh herbs in the garden. Moreover, Paola came to light the fireplace for us! And always with a smile and jokes. Paola speaks her languages! We didn't, but thanks to Paola's efforts, we learned some Italian words. Alora.. madaai … We highly recommend this beautiful, quiet place. The area lends itself to many trips and endless beautiful walks from easy to challenging. A place in our hearts.

We had a great stay at Renata's chalet. The house is lovely, very very clean, everything seems new and is well kept. It was cozy and warm. Views from the balcony are fantastic. The house fits well 5 people, 2 in the top bedroom, 1 in the single room, and 2 on the couch in the living room. The location worked out perfectly for us. The house is about half way between the ski resorts of Macugnaga and Domobianca. The first day we went to Macugnaga, which is a lovely town but had icy slopes on that specific time. The next day we opted then for Domobianca, which had instead beautiful snow at that time. All in all, a beautiful stay - great also for those that like walking in nature rather than skiing (there are paths starting right from the house). Also worth mentioning a great restaurant that makes excellent pizza 10 minutes away by car, called "Concordia".

The accommodation is beautifully located in the Valle di Mello and the area is great for the children to play.

Il Picchio is a beautiful chalet. Comfortable beds for 7. Excellent shower. Spacious living room. Francesca is the perfect host: made great suggestions of restaurants, festivals and even a hiking guide! You have to hike Alpe Veglia! Stunning. Lake Orta is a beautiful lake and Orta San Giulio is a gem of a lakeside village. We highly recommend Il Picchio. We will be back!

Staying there was amazing, you have so much nature surrounding you, getting there is a little tricky but with the right car is all worth it! Andrea was really friendly and the place was clean and just like the pictures! Would definitely go again!

I don't want to say good things about this place for fear of not having any places left for next year😁. You've got it, it's a great place to stay but above all super nice hosts. The setting is idyllic, located at an equal distance from Lake Lugano and Lake Como. A raised car is very useful for getting over the cobblestones. Claudia and Luca's accommodation has all the essentials for family time and unwinding. Claudia and Luca are very attentive hosts who answer all our questions quickly. (This was helpful to me following a car problem). The horses were a plus for my daughter who was delighted to be able to take care of them with Claudia. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, beautiful scenery, great hosts, and located 20 minutes from the great Italian lakes. What more could you ask for? 😉

The place is wonderful in all aspects. Fortunately, we have tire chains and are experienced with driving on small mountain roads in the winter. So, we could make the 15 minute climb/decent from/to Varzo village. We somehow assumed, and perhaps missed the communication that the cabin is not in Varzo. It is in a very peaceful and beautiful alpine area above Varzo. The Internet did not work, which was a blessing -- as the location beckoned peace and enjoyment of creation, not screens.

The house is in a perfect, quiet location, close to many walks, on foot you can reach many really nice places like the horrors. The interior of the house, all made of wood, is very nice. If you love tranquility, it is the perfect place. I needed Alberto for information and he was ready and accurate. We had a quiet and very relaxing vacation. Highly recommended.
