We had a great relaxing weekend at the house. Everything was as described. The house is much larger inside than you would think from looking at it. Very spacious and plenty of deck and outdoor space. The HotTub was relaxing as well. We spent most of the time at the pier fishing where we always got a bite and caught many fish. Our trip was too short, next time I’ll make sure to get a Monday checkout so we can enjoy it more! Hosts were very quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, a great place to take the family to relax over the weekend and plenty of space for each child to bring a friend!

Kim's home is as homely as one could ever feel like. The home is as genuine and authentic and real as Kim is. The experience was more unbelievable and amazing than we ever could've hoped for. I'll never pay to stay anywhere else in East Texas from now on. No other place could have been a better match, than Kim's, for my love for Lake Livingston and the East Texas area.

Our stay was beautiful, though we’ve visited the grounds before Heathers cottage was busy far the better of experiences. Steve was helpful with the bringing of the golf cart and neighbor information also. Appreciated the golf cart being only $50 instead of the $100 we’ve paid other times. Beautiful home and well kept, We had a blast!

Wonderful place to spend the weekend with family

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, beautifully maintained, and comfortably cool thanks to the two A/C units—perfect for hot days. The kitchen was fully stocked (just missing a cutting board, but that wasn’t a big deal), and fresh towels and linens were provided. Wi-Fi was also available, which was a nice bonus. We loved fishing right behind the large, beautiful pool—just steps from the bank. I’d recommend bringing a couple of lawn chairs to relax while you fish. The on-site bar and restaurant offered excellent service, and the pool itself was fantastic. The restrooms near the pool were impressively clean and spacious—honestly gave off Buc-ee’s vibes! The location is super convenient, with a Brookshire Brothers just 5–8 minutes away and Walmart about 20 minutes out. We truly enjoyed everything about our stay—the location, the hospitality, and all the amenities. We’re already planning to come back with the family again!

Amy was an amazing and responsive host. She answered all questions immediately and offered some great experiences and options while planning the weekend. And it was a wonderful weekend! The property and amenities were just as they were described and we enjoyed it all - even the outdoor movie screen. The view was breathtaking and the surroundings relaxing. Love the well-stocked kitchen and labels! We will definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.

Our stay at Lagoon Ranch was great. We had our 8 month old with us and they even provided a bed rail for the bunk bed. The cabins were clean and brand new. A little bare on the decor, we only had one twin size blanket to share A/c worked great in the Texas heat, the resort pool was really nice and it was great having a restaurant on the premises. The Arcade was not ready and the mercantile was a little light on items. The WiFi was not strong enough so could not use the two tvs in the cabin. I also felt the pool bar was unkept for what I expected of a resort. I was kind of expecting some music and an active swim up pool bar but it was a little dead, and not very clean, once it finally opened the bar wasn’t wiped down from all of the bugs that had died on the bar the night before. Also would have loved if they had scheduled some live music on their stage for Friday nights, but that is preference from parents who don’t get out much and it would have been nice to see some activity.

Such a fun get-away place for my family! My kids loved the outdoor activities and it was so peaceful waking up in the trees with the sunshine shining through the trees. It was a fun and unique experience!

Our stay at The White House was comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable. The views of the yard and lake from the living room were beautiful. The couches were a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. We will likely come back to the area in a year’s time for the same event and we all agreed we would gladly stay at the White House again.

This place is a HIDDEN GEM!💎 My family & I spent Father's Day weekend at Leslie's BEAUTIFUL lake house & WOW! The pictures really don't do this place justice! It was such a peaceful and relaxing place to spend time with family. Leslie was an incredible host and very quick to respond to any questions we had at any time! We spent most of our time fishing & caught some alligator gar & catfish! There were plenty of places for everyone to sleep, the wifi was great, & there were even extra toothbrushes and snacks available! We will definitely be back!!😊

Perfect place for a get away. We loved the chickens, visits from Jami and her calf, and the peacocks were fun to watch also. The attention to detail by the hosts was impeccable. We had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back.

This is my 2nd time staying here and it's been great both times! The space is spotless, comfortable, and so well set up for families. The lake across the street is peaceful and relaxing. We took my 4 year old fishing for the first time ever and we caught (and released) 9 fish!! My son was so excited and it was a great experience. Tyra the host is right across the street and is super friendly and helpful if you need anything. She's a beekeeper and gave us some of her honey, which was sweet in all the ways. We'll definitely be back!

Well used space. Easy fit for 10 if majority are children I would say. Few spider webs especially on the patio which I had to clean which was no big deal until I got stung by wasp from wasp nest under one of the balcony chairs. Husband sprayed nest so I hope better for next guest. I stayed here 2 years ago and must say maintenance was better at that time in surrounding area pool, grass, community over all. bait shop now closed on premises (don’t fret a bait shop is within driving distance) In the home the upkeep is very good. Stocked with the essentials. Nice stay

This is a GREAT cozy little cabin with a view of Lake Livingston! it's equipped with everything you need, and sparkling clean. One thing worth noting for those who might struggle with them: the stairs are steeper and less deep than most. Not a negative for us, but for someone who has an injury or other mobility challenge it's good to know. The little stuffed alligator in the second bedroom where our 3 year old slept was a great touch - he loved it so much we had to buy him a stuffed alligator at a local store to bring home! Other things to note: beds are firm, which isn't a negative or positive but may be useful information. Window A/C units do a great job for the space, central air is not missed at all! Watch out for ant hills in the parking area since it's grass - not a big deal if you just look for them. It's a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Most amenities will be across the bridge in Livingston but there are a few things nearby.

My husband and I booked so that we could go to ren faire. This stay is a true hidden gem. it was peaceful and quiet which was very nice after a fun day at TRF. the furniture was comfortable and even though it was chilly outside it was so warm and toasty inside. absolutely would book again!

This home is a wonderful place to be. Nothing like coming home from a long day, walking 10 steps and casting a line! Audrey and husband rick are good folks and stay on top of everything! I felt like I was at home the second I stepped on the property. With the attentiveness on top of everything else to make us feel comfortable is unbeatable! Great recommendations, great amenities, great people and great times! Don’t miss out on this wonderful home if you get the chance!

We enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were awesome. We realized the microwave wasn’t working and let the host know. Leslie went and purchased one right away. Loved being right on the water. Nice having on site washer/dryer.

Nice, clean place in a convenient location. The house itself is inside a trailer park that is slowly being gentrified with scores of 1000 sq foot houses. It is basically impossible to walk from this park to any part of town. The house has no outside area to sit, if that matters to you. But this is all part of its charm... it is a small house that is quiet, isolated, and a (relatively) affordable place just outside both Conroe and Montgomery. Highly recommended place if you need to stay in this area.
