Lake side house rentals in Lake Leelanau

Our stay here was perfect for a girls weekend! It was exactly what we were expecting and the place was pristine! The beach was easy to access and the board games came in handy!

Wow — this was maybe the best AirBnB experience that I’ve had. Monica has done such a wonderful job with this cabin. It was pristine, peaceful, and in the most beautiful location. The cabin itself was exceptionally comfortable with everything we needed for comfort. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and cooking utensils, with a great grill outside — we used it for most meals! The porch was almost with the entire value of the place itself, a perfect spot to sit and relax and enjoy the day. My dog was in LOVE with her surroundings, and we enjoyed many a walk down the long grassy lawn to the water where she swam and laid out in the sun on the dock (plus was put into a kayak successfully for the first time with moderate success!). Monica was an incredible host who has quite literally thought of everything to make the stay perfect. We hope to stay again in the future!

Incredible camp! It feels “rustic luxury” might be the most apt descriptor for Driftwood Camp. The camp itself has everything you need plus an abundance of nature m, privacy, and charm. I booked this a few months ago, invited some friends, and hoped it was as awesome as it seemed. It exceeded all our expectations. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.! We’ll definitely be back. (Oh, and for any folks who book a visit and are worried about a forecast of cooler temps with the open air cabins: We packed extra blankets and slept very comfortably with temps in the low 40s!)

We loved our stay! The listing was exceptionally clean and amenities were as described. We enjoyed the location and having a coffee shop and (delicious) burger joint in walkable distance was a great bonus! The view of the beach and water right off the private balcony was wonderful and having a heated pool/hot tub combo right on property made this an ideal booking for our family. We’d come back and would recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay at sunrise landing, our suite was very clean and thoughtfully put together. Dan was communicative and helpful. The kayak rental was reasonably priced and a lot of fun for my child. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Jason’s studio was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well equipped, and conveniently located to all the area has to offer. Highly recommended!

It was very relaxing right from the first moment we stepped inside to our last day. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening after touring around. The view from the hot tub with the sound of the birds was very relaxing and fun. We wife and I would definitely come back to Jeff's place. This is a gem near all the amenities and close to great restaurants.

The house was spacious and perfect for our family needs. There are places to park in the front and further down the hill, and the convenience of entering on the lower level. The lower level bedrooms can get chilly in the winter months but easily managed with a few extra blankets. Great communication and a thoughtful welcome with fresh bakery bread and jam. The location was perfect for our needs and we all agreed that we would stay at this Airbnb in the future!

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

House location was 12/10. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Walking distance to trails and sits right on the lake. Kids loved playing in and on the water with the kayaks provided. Would highly recommend the home to family and friends and would stay here anytime our family returns to the area. House was as advertised and Joe was very responsive and offered local trails and areas to eat.

This was the perfect stay for a family weekend up north! Loved how peaceful the area was, yet still an easy distance to Traverse City for food/activities. We also loved all the games and puzzles in the cabin! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The views were absolutely stunning. The house itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. You can tell a lot of care has gone into this home. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a serene, scenic escape. We’d definitely love to come back!

Thank you for welcoming us into your home, Yoav! The Box Haus is a beautiful place to stay while enjoying Leland. Beyond being wonderfully designed, the home was very comfortable and had available kitchen supplies for those interested in cooking and amenities. Yoav was very accommodating and responsive and brought an iron and ironing board quickly when requested. We were here for a wedding and had a great time thanks to the Box Haus

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

Melanie and Jon are great hosts, super communicative. I came in the winter and was unable to see a lot of the surroundings. It feels like a historical experience due to the old-time layout and size, but has a really nice covered area in the back yard to have a coffee and relax or watch the snow. Deer jumped the fence and walked through several times per week. Just about the time I left, the snow had melted and one can see that it is a beautiful yard and area in warmer months with superior walkability to everything. It is not one of those fancy places with all kinds of bells and whistles. The Water Drop is a cozy, safe and warm little cottage that gives a vibe that stays with you and makes it hard to leave. Really cool place.

Carolyn was an incredible host. The home was absolutely beautiful. We stayed for my father’s 70th birthday and the lovely lake and spacious home was perfect for all the kids and grandkids.Carolyn was attentive and kind and even brought us a pack and play last minute!!! Highly recommend and we will probably book again for a northern Michigan vacation!

If you are looking to stay anywhere near this area, I highly recommend staying here. What a peaceful, unique experience. I was worried at first about the different amenities, like the outdoor shower and driving back on someone else's property, but was pleasantly surprised at how well instructions were put out and how quickly I felt at home. 10/10 recommend. Also the alpacas and donkeys are a huge plus ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Lori’s Airbnb! The space was small but absolutely perfect for us and our dog—it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short drive to both Lake Leelanau and Suttons Bay, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. We were celebrating our anniversary, and Lori went above and beyond by leaving us two bottles of wine to help us celebrate—such a thoughtful touch! She was also fantastic with communication and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. This was truly a special trip, and Lori’s place played a big part in that. We’d definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommend!

Nice little spot in a walkable neighborhood. Couple of restaurants, a grocery store and a gas station nearby!

Perched on a peaceful hilltop surrounded by trees, the Birdhouse offers cozy, thoughtful accommodations. You will find that Joyce has thought about every detail in how the space is designed. From the delicious local coffee from Higher Grounds, to the comfortable bed and all of the kitchen supplies you could need, your shelter needs will be met - and then some with Joyce’s hospitality. We used her detailed visiting guide to pick up dinner (which did not disappoint in the least! Run, don’t walk, to Nittolo’s!) Our time in northern Michigan is always a treat. It feels like time is slower and the days are a little less stressful and our time at Joyce’s was no exception. This past weekend at the Birdhouse was one of our most memorable trips and Joyce’s hospitality played a large part in that. She was communicative leading up to our arrival date, was helpful when we had questions and was kind enough to let us meet and spend time with her adorable pups. We can't wait to return!

The house was really nice, clean and comfortable. The setting was peaceful and quiet. It was easy to walk on the street. We had a couple of questions and David and Nicole were extremely responsive and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

We had such an amazing stay at Warbler House. The home is even more beautiful in person. It is seriously my dream house - I did not want to leave! Marissa was a great host - lots of great recommendations and very responsive. We will definitely look to book again the next time we’re in the TC area!!

Jim and Manie were so fun to meet, and the place was incredibly cozy and super clean! Lots of attention was clearly paid to the little details inside the space and making it a comfortable stay. It was also an easy drive from the property to local attractions.
