Waterfront vacation rentals in Lake Huron

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

Very comfortable and close to a great Italian restaurant!

Looks exactly as listed! Great views from the balcony with nice natural light from inside. The evenings had plenty of relaxing fireplace heaters inside with dim light settings. Heated bathroom floor was my personal favorite. A great park to walk in nearby made it the perfect relaxing getaway we were hoping for!

We were two retired couples who rented the apartment for 3 nights. Very pleased. Walk-able location in Little Current, on the main street. Great views of waterway, bridge, and sunrise from the comfortable balcony. The apartment was as shown in pictures and as described. Chris was very helpful. Instructions for parking, entrance, and use were clear. With central location and over businesses, over night noise could be an issue. Sound generators were provided in the bedrooms. Beds and linens/blankets were comfortable as were living room furnishings. Loft bedroom wasn't used, note that ceiling height is limited beyond the centre of the room, as in the pictures. Bathroom very nicely renovated, hot water and towels great. Kitchen was well equipped for utensils and pots and pans. Bring you own condiments, spices, and tea/coffee for the kettle and basket coffee maker provided. Note that access stairs are steep and internet was slow. TV not 4K and sometimes had to wait to spool the feed.

Minna’s place was spacious, uncluttered, nicely furnished, and immaculately clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. In short, exactly as advertised. We would definitely book here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The backyard pool was absolutely beautiful and made the perfect setting for a small get-together with friends for the UFC event. Everything was just as described, and our kids enjoyed every minute in the pool. We also brought a few lawn games which made it even more fun for everyone. The hosts were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth — even while they were welcoming their own child into the world on the same day we checked in! That level of care and hospitality truly stood out. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Carols place is an 11 out of 10. The apartment was super clean, spacious, and cozy. Perfect size for our family of 4. It was walking distance to EVERYTHING! I loved being able to pop downstairs in the morning to get coffee & my kids loved the free walking strawberry cups! This is our second stay at one of carols places and it won’t be the last

main pros: right next to highway. well maintained property. hot running water,wifi, kitchen,etc.. everything is just like home. kayak, firepit , bbq. main con: not isolated enough, if you are looking for such isolation experience.

The A Frame getaway Nordic Spa really delivered. It’s a cozy interior and a beautiful spa oasis outside. Everything was decorated with purpose and the space felt very relaxing. We spent a few hours cycling through hot and cold in the sauna/hottub and cold tub. The only downside to the space is the small semi updated single bathroom. Wasn’t a huge concern for us, but I don’t remember any pictures of it and it’s certainly not the focal point of the space or why you should stay here. Overall, the space provided an amazing opportunity to relax, unwind, and refresh. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Wonderful home with stunning views of the lake—peaceful, quiet, and the perfect setting for our friends reunion. Ivonne’s restaurant recommendations were spot on and made exploring the area even more enjoyable. A great place to relax and reconnect. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely spot with lake view from the front porch and easy access to the water. Great location to explore the Bruce Peninsula! Host was very helpful and friendly and had everything that was need for our stay which made packing so easy. Host responded quickly to questions and was flexible with accommodation. Would definitely go again.

We had a wonderful stay at a stunningly beautiful cottage. It is very spacious and open and the rich wood walls and floors gave us a very cozy and comfortable feel. We loved the view of the lake. It was my first week of retirement and they surprised us with retirement signs outside and decorations inside the cottage along with a card, and candy gifts! The cottage is stocked with everything you would ever need for an enjoyable stay. Denise and Roger were wonderful hosts and we were treated with the finest hospitality anyone could hope for. We are definitely returning again this year and we highly recommend this beautiful cottage and the hospitality that comes along with it!

We had an amazing stay at Jane and Steve’s place! They were very warm and were always accommodating and ensuring our stay was going well. Jane even ensured we got to our trail start and end one day. Everything about the “loft” was comfortable, the banana bread was amazing and it felt like we were visiting old friends. Thanks so much for helping to make a rainy cold weekend enjoyable!

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.

We had a great weekend. Space worked out perfectly and we were able to use the kayaks. They had everything you could want and more.

This was my second time staying at Brendan's place - and I hope to be there again! The location was perfect - just across from a park and walking distance to all the theaters, shops and restaurants- and a wonderful bakery just a few doors away.. The kitchen was equipped with every convenience - we could have cooked all of our meals there if we hadn't wanted to eat out. The beds and foldout couch were comfortable and the place was roomy and quiet. Couldn't be better!

We had a lovely stay at this condo. It is located on a beautiful lake of which the living room has a gorgeous view. Access to kayaks and a fire pit were a very nice bonus! The property was clean and comfortable. Communication about our stay was great. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a wedding at Elora Mill. Stayed 2 nights. Location was very close and walkable. Lots of dining choices near by. Kitchen has good amenities for cooking meals too. Balcony deck nice to sit out on and watch the wildlife on the river. There are lots of stairs to get up to the deck and a steep staircase in the unit. Parking could be a problem but Jane gives lots of options of where you can park. Very clean, comfy and as described. Bathroom stocked with amenities. Beds are comfortable.

Immaculately clean, spacious, and Beautiful condo. It had everything we need and a few steps to the marina. Easy instructions to get inside and parked. I highly recommend!

Beautiful place, beautiful environment! Michelle was so helpful & easy to communicate too! Even though it was unfortunate the pool / hot tub wasn’t opened in time, it was still a great stay! Will definitely be coming back time & time again!
