We had such a relaxing few days at this lakeside oasis. Watching the water on Lake Huron was magical and the beaches and rocks were wonderful. So centering!

David was very accommodating and responsive host. He always wanted to give us the most accurate description of what to expect. The cottage is very nice and quite, we were there for the weekend along with another couple in the property in the neighboring house. We had a great stay and enjoyed being outside for the most of the time enjoying the kayaking and the outdoor fire camp. The house is nice and comfy, has all necessary things for a short couple's retreat. Overall great and we already booked to return in the summer, hopefully with a warmer weather labeling us to swim and snorkel in the beautiful area.

Gorgeous Lake Huron at your doorstep. Heavenly sunrises, beach fires, outdoor dining. Beautiful covered back deck. Cottage very comfortable- fully stocked kitchen. We barbecued almost every night watching the boats go by. Absolutely loved lake living!

Angeline’s place was so cute and clean and I loved all of the decor and special touches. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and just taking in the peace and quiet and sunshine. ☀️ The bed was super comfortable so we slept great and she offered plenty of clean towels and wash clothes in the bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked which helped me immensely while preparing meals. We found several beaches in the area for rockhounding and also stopped at Ocqueoc Falls on the way to the cottage. Thank you so much for making our trip special. ☺️

We had a great four-day stay with our many kids ages 12 down to 2. They had a lot of fun exploring all the beds and deciding where to sleep each night. There were many nice details, like swing seats and beach toys, that made the experience unique and exciting for our crew. The neighbors on both sides were very friendly. The lake connects to several others and has a fun, social vibe with many cottages, though when we were there, early June, Sunday - Wednesday, things were quiet. While kayaking we saw painted turtles, one huge snapping turtle, geese and their ten goslings, and a little loon family with two ducklings that were entertaining, and made beautiful, haunting calls in the evening. Lots of aquatic plants, lily pads, evidence of crayfish, and snails too. We never did catch a fish (we're not too serious about it) but saw many. Just pay attention to the description - there's no washer or dryer. The kids all want to go back. We had a great, relaxing time.

Right on the beach! Just a walk across a road to the public beach. Such a beautiful view you cannot beat the sunsets! Very spacious for our 10 friends going up for a girls weekend and walking distance to the main strip. Would highly recommend!

We had a great long weekend at Kathy’s cottage. The house is spacious and perfect for two families with teens. The lake view is stunning, and we loved relaxing on the new deck. The fire pit area quickly became a favorite spot every night. Kayaking in the calm harbor was a highlight! There were some bikes available as well, although we brought our own and didn’t end up using them. The basement has a second kitchen and fridge. The sauna appeared to be high quality — just note that you may need to reset it if the temperature doesn’t rise right away. One of the downstairs bedrooms is located next to the utility room and can be a bit noisy, so keep that in mind. Note that only three bedrooms are available for guests, as some rooms are closed off. The living room and main kitchen area are beautiful, with high ceilings and a stunning lake view. Kathy was very responsive and accommodating with a special requests we had, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we had a great time!

Very nice house on a beautiful lake Odessa. Look exactly like the pictures. Very peaceful place. Kids love it by the water and was able to fish all day. Would definitely consider going back.

Great host. Great home. Very clean and updated home. This place had everything available for us. Extra towels, lots of pillows, lots of sleeping spaces. The kitchen was also equipped with everything needed! I’m hoping to return again. I would like to recommend this to anyone who needs a spot in Grand Bend. Hot tub and sauna were very nice. We were offered early check in and late check out which was very nice.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Cozy Cottage. Mike and Kristina thought of everything. No detail was left out. The cottage was delightfully cozy and well stocked with relaxing activities. Hot tub, sauna, hammocks and fire pit were all wonderful. Loved this place and would definitely stay again.

My husband and our 3 young children and I stayed at Blake's place and we had a blast. We stayed in April, so we wanted a place with things to do even if the weather was cooler and this did not disappoint. The cottage is private, spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of different areas to relax and explore. The beach is rocky but easy to walk on and the kids had fun flying kites on the windier days, and exploring the shallow pools of water that formed between the cottage and the lake. The outdoor space around the cottage was great for the kids and us to roam around, and we took advantage of the nearby hiking trails in Tobermory as well. We loved relaxing by the fire pit, and spending time in the hot tub which overlooks the beach. Thanks for hosting us!

Really enjoyed our stay! The place was super clean and cozy—felt really homey. Beds were super comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, and utensils, which made things easy. The hosts were lovely and quick to respond when we had an issue with the hot tub the first night. They addressed it right away and even kindly offered us an extra night to make up for it. Unfortunately, everyone had to work the next day, so we couldn’t take them up on it. It was disappointing not to be able to use the hot tub that night, especially since this was a girls’ getaway for the bride-to-be and it was a big part of our plans. That said, everything else was great, and we’d definitely consider coming back!

Cam was unbelievably accommodating and communicative, always responding to my chats and queries within a short period of time. The place was beautiful and exactly as he described. With all the knick knacks, it really made you feel like you were staying in a rustic cottage. The hot tub was an awesome addition, especially since we didn’t have the best weather conditions for our stay. We stayed there for me and my girlfriend’s 4 year anniversary, and I’m so glad we got to stay at Cam’s place. If I could give it 6 stars I would. If you’re considering staying here, I recommend it highly! Bayfield is also so beautiful and theres so many boutiques and cute shops to shop at!

Really loved our time at this cabin overall! The location is gorgeous - the views from the back patio, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the indoor spaces are absolutely stunning. You can see so much of the lake, and of the beautiful surrounding land. The cabin is also lovely. It had lots of little touches to make it feel more comfortable, cozy, and ready to settle right in! There are a few things I wish were more clear in the listing. For example, there are two bedrooms - one has a queen bed, and one has a trundle with two twins. The other queen is a pull-out couch right in the living room. Since the cabin is mostly just one large space, that room is open to all of the space. Also, the hot tub is on a low watt plug, so it took about 5 hours for it to warm up to the point of being comfortable in chilly weather. I wish it had warmed up more quickly, or been usable right when we arrived. Overall it was a really lovely trip and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Robert’s cabin was perfect! We loved it so much that we would consider making another trip from where we live in Seattle just to stay here again. It was so clean and had everything we could want. I just love the vision they had when decorating their space. It was so beautiful. The hot tub was very spacious, we used the gas grill and it worked perfectly, wood was available for a fire, we used their cute seadoo pedal boat, which was so fun! Plenty of kayaks were available. The lake was a dream. We didn’t get to fish but there must be a lot of fish in there because they were constantly jumping out of the water. There were comfy seats all over the yard and a lovely gazebo. The inside was so cozy. Mattress was perfect. I could go on and on about all the things we loved but I’ll just say 10/10 recommend :)

This Airbnb was even better than the photos! Robert was very accommodating with the check-in and check-out times. He was very responsive with any questions we had and gave us a list of things to do in the area. We loved our stay and hope to come back in the near future!

This was our 4th year staying at the cottage and it didn't disappoint. Larry and Jan are great hosts and we absolutely love visiting, it truly is one of our favorite place we go during the year. It's a great getaway, peaceful and just allows to take in beautiful sunrises and get lost in the views.

What a beautiful place to hang our hats at. We really enjoyed the view and the amenities were amazing. Also the mattresses were great!!!

It was reall a great experience living in Matt's house for 3 days. Everything was perfect as he described. He is responsive and very helping host. His house was clean and had everything which we need there in our stay. Location was also perfect for families and a group of friends. I will recommend that place for sure.

We stayed at Pam’s cottage for 2 nights with our dog, the cottage was absolutely pristine. Lots of windows for natural light and fresh air, perfect fire pit for a late night fire, and extremely quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. The cottage is not directly on the water, but you can still get a small view across the road and Pam gave lots of beach recommendations. Singing sands beach was our favourite! 10/10 would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Oscoda MI in this lovely home. It was absolutely spotless, sleeps several with 3+ bedrooms, nice private bathrooms 2x, Perfect fenced in year for the dog, easy walk to the beach at the end of the street, many miles of private beach area for relaxing, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to cozy upon arrival. Great little family grocery shopping mart less than 5 minutes away and home offers a huge well stocked kitchen. Super nice host family to work with! Highly recommend this spot for "Boomers" who just want to Beach It and RELAX!

The knotty pine was an incredible experience!! The cottage was so cozy and beautiful with lots to do. Lots of books, records to listen to, corn hole and so much more. Katherine was a fantastic host, she was very responsive and replied quickly which made my stay even more comfortable. The house was extremely clean and welcoming! The view was breathtaking as well, the water was a little rough so we couldn’t use the kayaks but I’m sure it would have been great. 10/10 would stay again!!

Angela's place is really a great location right on the shore of Lake Huron. The sunsets down by the beach chairs are amazing. Getting all the way down the steps might be a bit challenging for someone with mobility issues. The cottage itself was well kept, clean, and welcoming. The outdoor patio space, bbq area, and firepit were amazing. The views of the lake from the kitchen and living room are remarkable. Well worth it!!
