House vacation rentals in Lake Houston

We loved our stay on the lake. It was such a beautiful place! Direct lake access and a pool, perfect for our family. The house was clean and spacious. The outdoors was lovely with so many great spots to enjoy. We had an issue with the pool and Rachel went out of her way to make it right for us. The house and backyard are designed to be easily enjoyed. Our teens loved being able to bounce between the lake, pool and garage games. We will want to stay here again!

Wonderful lake house! The most stocked Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Lots of kitchen items for cooking, lots if glassware for specialty drinks, wonderful coffee with two options of brewing, and well stocked garage full of water activities and fishing gear. The master bath is definitely a plus. Would recommend this location and home. Michelle was a wonderful host who was available for all our needs. Would absolutely stay here again.

James was a great host! Very friendly and helpful. He provided prompt access info and instructions. We all loved the relaxing pool, ping pong table in the game room, the space throughout the house, the sound system and grilling on the patio. The details were a wonderful bonus such as the throw blankets, kitchen utensils, and the beach towels and pool toys. Very family friendly home and a great place to retreat.

Stumbled across this gem by accident. We loved our stay. The fact that the property comes with a story just adds to the experience. Most rentals you forget about over time, but this one will stick in my mind for years and years to come. I would highly recommend the Kettle House to our friends and family.

This place is great for some rest and relaxation. There is plenty to do. You can go fishing or swimming in the lake or go for a dip in the community pool. Then again, if you'd rather stay in, the property has a pool table, foosball table, air hockey table, and corn hole game. Our family really enjoyed the time here.

This house is AWESOME!! and Ms. Mandy is a GREAT host!! The only small issue we had was the hot tub would not get that warm. However, my family and friends had a WONDERFUL time!! We will love to stay here again!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time! There are plenty of fun activities for little kids to enjoy doing along with the ease of renting the boat and waverunner directly through Rachel and Calvin, this house is perfectly located to enjoy the canal while still getting out to the lake in just a couple of minutes. Rachel was extremely communicative and easy to talk with. I’d highly recommended this house!

Our weekend getaway at this Airbnb was perfect! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. The serene, peaceful atmosphere and beautiful nature sounds in the morning made our stay incredibly relaxing. The location is wonderfully private and quiet, allowing us to unwind and connect with nature. The free-roaming horses were a charming bonus; they were friendly and curious, enhancing our experience. We also spotted various wildlife, adding to the magic. Upon entering, we were greeted by a delightful aroma and soothing music, setting an amazing vibe. The place was clean and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. We encountered a couple of scorpions, but that’s part of the charm of being in nature. The outdoor Jacuzzi was fantastic, especially with the outdoor shower We truly loved our time here and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a retreat or quick getaway!

Shawn’s home was the perfect spot for my family & I. We were attending a baby shower in the area so we wanted to stay close by. Being on the water was a plus! We walked down in the morning & evening. It was so peaceful. We have already decided we will be back & hopefully staying at Shawn’s once the baby is born.

Well-appointed, super clean accommodations and a wonderful host are what you get at this oceanfront Airbnb! We enjoyed watching huge pods of pelicans cruise the shoreline for their daily catches + a quiet and peaceful vibe the entire week!!

Very nice and peaceful environment. Had plenty to do to keep our family and kids engaged. There were a few chairs loose or broken but it wasn't enough to look past and enjoy our time. The pool table came in handy. The rooms were great. The bunk bed room was good but the very top bunk is were too close to the ceiling and could make you claustrophobic if you weren't already. Overall great experience.

MY FAVORITE STAY IN ANAHUAC! Also, one of my favorite places I've stayed in general for an Airbnb. I don't have enough good things to say about this home, it is so cute, quaint, well maintained and well built. Just about my entire group asked if we could buy the house or build one just like it. I am a local and this has to be one of the nicest homes on the lake, if not the nicest. I would 10000% recommend staying here if you are in the area. The host is fantastic as well and the house is very spacious for bigger groups.

Let me just start by saying this place was so beautiful and lots of space. The area was so quiet and peaceful. This home was so clean and precise down to the decorations. I enjoyed staying here. The host was so lovely and so kind and understanding. The airbnb was great Patricia was very helpful with all my questions and concerns. She answered quickly and was very quick to resolve any of my issues. The place was lovely and just what we needed for a great weekend getaway.

We really had a fun time at this Beach/fishing getaway So cool to fish right outside your door from the upper deck. Really nice to keep mosquitoes off of you. The night fishing was great with the lights on the water! Beds were super comfy. We really enjoyed our stay. For a quick trip on Father’s Day in San Luis pass it was just right. We will come back. 🎣
