House vacation rentals in Lake George

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

Gotta say it’s gotta be the first place that advertises child friendly and actually was. Multiple high chairs and cribs. No low placed fragile furniture. Even the coffee table had corner foam bumpers.

Heaven on earth!!! Very peaceful!! Clean energy!! Tbh I am struggling to write about this place because I don’t want people to know about it. I want to keep it as a secret but I know that a place like this shouldn’t be a secret and shared with people… I cannot wait to be back again!!!!

This was my first ever experience with AirBNB. I couldn't have stayed at a better location for my first experience! Melissa's home was warm welcoming and beautiful. I stayed for four nights with my four children. There was plenty of space for all of us. Although my youngest still chose to sleep with me lol the bed was still big enough for the two of us. The pool was absolutely perfect, my kids loved it! The hot tub was very relaxing and very easy to use. My kids really enjoyed it too. The grill worked wonderfully and the fire pit was great for smores. The covered patio made watching my kids enjoy the pool even more relaxing for me, I'm a ginger so if I can be outside and out of direct sunlight that's a huge bonus for me. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. Melissa was very responsive when I had questions and I cannot thank her enough for the great week. We'll be back next June for another week! Can't wait to return to this fantastic vacation spot!

The house was beautiful and Rhonda was great, she was very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home and enjoyed the place more than Lake George :) , the hot tub and pool were great and i would recommend anyone coming to this area to definitely book the place if they get the chance.

Chantale’s place was wonderful. The pool allows us to have fun even when it’s raining. Chantale was really responsive and helpful and her dogs were a lovely bonus.

Diana’s place was perfect for our family visit to Lake George. Great location, walkable to town and hikes. The kids loved the pool. We would definitely recommend and come back for another stay.

9 adults and 3 children all met up for a family weekend! We came from NY, NH and Maine! The house was perfect! Plenty of room to gather or separate! Even tho it was a chilly rainy weekend the kids managed to get in plenty of pool time! Tanya was very responsive and Melvin was the greatest! Our first morning he came right over to fix a slow drain. Private large house with plenty of space for our grandchildren and the adults. Children are their parents stayed on the 1st floor which was next to the game room. 2nd floor has the kitchen area, large living room with wraparound porch. Another bed and master bedroom located here. Bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Lots amenities come with the house for use at the lake or around the home. The only suggestion is to clean the enclosed porch on the 1st as the weather blows in dust. This house is worth considering if you’re staying at Lake George.

Comfortable and relaxing stay near Lake George. The apartment was just as described. It was right on Glen Lake, a beautiful small lake perfect for kayaking. Speaking of kayak they have a couple of kayaks and a canoe. I was able to get out on the lake, a couple of times and really enjoyed it.The owner’s wife even helped me launch my kayak and help bring me in. They were a friendly and helpful couple. Their place was relaxing and enjoyable right on the lake with a nice large deck. Highly recommend recommended!

Peter was an amazing host. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, even recommending local places for us to check out and helping me find a spot right nextdoor at the marina to dock my boat. His communication was excellent and the cottage had amazing views of the lake, especially for watching the fireworks from the second floor deck. Our family really enjoyed the private neighborhood beach, which included the use of kayaks that our boys loved. Being walking distance to Million Dollar Beach and the village was also a nice perk. We created great memories and will definitely return!

Amazing place to wind down and experience the beauty of the ADK. Close to Lake George and all sorts of cool places in the area. However, even just staying on the property is great with a nice bonfire, grill, hot tub, and an awesome river right across the street to go fishing in. I would definitely stay here again!

Rebeca’s home was the perfect place for our girls weekend! Plenty of room for the 6 of us, comfortable beds, beautiful back deck and the hot tub was a plus. All weekend long we were commenting on how beautiful and clean the home was. It was a quick drive to the village of Lake George and easily accessible to the highway as well. 5/5, definitely recommend, we will be back!

Even better than the pictures!! Inside felt so homey and the place was so clean. The host left unexpected touches that we really appreciated! You walk in and are able to see out the beautiful big window to the water and trees. My kids loved the bunk room! The outdoor space had so many areas for the whole family to hang out comfortably. The playground was super close. Being right on the water and not having neighbors right on top of you made the trip peaceful and relaxing. The game garage was a huge hit as well, just a super fun and cool bonus. Would love to come back and stay for longer! Thank you for an amazing trip.

A beautiful home in such a nice location! My friends and I stayed for two nights and we enjoyed every second. Host was very responsive and the house is full of amenities! The house is a lot closer to neighbors than I thought so we had to be a lot more mindful about noise but even then the neighbors were super nice and had a good conversation with us on our way out!

Our family had a great time here. We spent as much time on the dock as possible. So serene, so beautiful. And the view of the lake from inside the home, which was nicely renovated, is amazing, too. A special thank you to Trisha, who was communicative, helpful, and friendly.

Really cool place. Beside a little tavern. Extremely quiet at night time, in the mountains and by a lake. Place was immaculate. Great host, good communication.

great house with everything needed to enjoy the beautiful surroundings for a family vacation- pups included. the summit at sacandaga was everything we hoped for: beautiful lake views surrounded by mountains in a very private setting. the entire house was very clean and well appointed especially in bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. we loved our stay. heather was very responsive and helpful and we had no issues from start to finish- only a positive experience. we would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this beautiful spot on the lake.

Such a wonderful and beautiful home away from home for our visit to the Lake George area. House was easy to find, easy to get in and out, very clean with great recommendations for all sorts of stuff including restaurants, activities and grocery stores. Highly recommended!

This was my first time visiting Lake George and Mikes place was the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful beautiful surroundings all while being very accessible to downtown. The home has a lovely cabin decor and is very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone coming up to the area and will certainly book when we return

Charming spot with everything we needed for a lovely weekend. Mark was super proactive and gave very clear directions to get to the lovely house.

Allan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and recommended things to see and do. We had noticed one of the chairs in the kitchen had a leg coming about, I sent Allan an email with a picture. He answered right back and let us know that his wife would bring another chair over to replace the broken one. The home was very clean and homey. I would stay there again and I do recommend the place. DP

This choice was at the high end of our shopping, but did not disappoint. The hosts go out of their way to make sure their guests are taken care of. They do provide some coffee & tea to get you started, but you do need to bring any other groceries with you at the start. We stopped before arriving to get dinner, beverages, and morning supplies to tide us over to our main shopping. They have moved into the electronic age (successfully). A little of a learning curve, but made our visit enjoyable. Loved no key or lock box, streaming tv, Keurig, modern laundry, great wifi, remotes (and they all worked). Didn't take advantage of Alexa. And the smokeless fire pit is AWESOME. The actual home earns its Lakehouse name with a view of the lake -so relaxing. This was truly what made our trip. Quiet & serene. We are looking forward to our next visit that they have their lake access available (which was a temp.situation). Lakehouse was the retreat that revived our Northcountry activities.
