House vacation rentals in Lake Charlevoix

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

The place was very clean and surrounded by beautiful nature. We will definitely come back again!

This has been my favorite Air BNB to stay. Everything was exactly as portrayed in photos. Very clean, beds cozy, check-in/out smooth, & we were able to use the pool & jacuzzi!

Check in was easy. Quick responses. Location was private and felt at home. My family and I enjoyed the outdoor sitting area and hot tub. Unfortunately the waterpark was closed. But everything else was great. Thank you.

Sam and Lynn were very responsive and welcoming hosts. They provided us with snacks and some complimentary items in the fridge! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It was a very homey stay, I would definitely come back!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

The house is stunning! We did encounter some difficulties during our stay that need to be addressed but these are no fault of the house and surroundings that’s why I am leaving 5 stars as I am confident these issues will be addressed.

Shelly’s home was beautiful and spotless! She was very responsive in her communication! Her home was comfortable for our family of five! The home was well stocked with coffee, spices and shampoo. It was clear she has put considerable effort into making her guests comfortable in her beautiful home! We would not hesitate to book again! Thank you Shelly for a wonderful stay!

Very modern space with all the amenities in quiet, natural surroundings. The home was in an area of upper Michigan that is in less-travelled with a quaint small town with good restaurants and small grocery store. All the more-travelled areas are in easy driving distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider going back!

Had an amazing and relaxing Bachelorette weekend away! Perfect peaceful evenings with the hot tub and watched movies and played cards! Will absolutely love to come back one day!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Every space was thoughtfully furnished, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The primary suite was a highlight—it felt like our own private retreat with its cozy sitting area and beautiful bathroom. The backyard was a dream: lush, pristine, and perfect for unwinding in the hot tub. The host went above and beyond, responding to questions immediately and even stopping by to blow up paddle boards for our kids, which they loved. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

The place is adorable and peaceful. The decor is cottage cute! Being able to walk out the back door to Lake Michigan for a bonfire every night was amazing!!! Three chairs are set up by the big window with sweeping lake views to chill in the evenings. Just be aware the place is smallish and no dishwasher so I would keep it below 6 people, but it worked out great for the two of us on our anniversary. It was romantic and a super pick!!! You will not be disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised!!! :)

Exceeded expectations. Close to Boyne Mountain. Kitchen was stocked better than any other rental I’ve stayed in. We would definitely stay there again!

This home was secluded, yet just a short drive away from downtown Petoskey and local wineries. Very clean, including the hot tub, and we really enjoyed the covered ping-pong table (even in the rain) and other yard games provided while it was nice out. Really comfortable furniture, lots of places to hang inside and outside. The instruction/guest guide book for appliances and other speciality items was very helpful. Basic needs were supplied with a few extras and loved that check out was easy and just few things to do.

Was one of the best air bnb stays I’ve had. Beautiful location and views. Peaceful and comfortable. The space was very inspiring and I’m so glad we booked this place. Seeing the sunrise from the master bedroom was my favorite!

We stayed here for wedding/birthday get away This place was great, super nice house tucked away in the woods walkable from town, Virginia leaves you with all sorts of recommendations to try places to check out and options for everyone. She was super easy to work with and super responsive, we needed to reach her for one minor thing at about 8:30 pm and she responded within 5 minutes and helped with exactly what we need. Definitely recommend!

Had a great time staying here! Close to Charlevoix, all the ski resorts were drivable too! The stay was very cozy, the area is very peaceful and quiet. Getting in and out was easy. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful home in a great location. Extremely clean with spacious gathering space on the main level. All bedrooms are on the second floor and were clean with beautiful views and comfortable beds. Loved the front porch with lots of chairs and great walkability. Three full ballrooms that are beautiful and clean. Owner was helpful and responsive, checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. This home was perfect for our ladies weekend getaway. Back patio looks so inviting for warmer months. Walk right to the water for rock hunting. Highly recommend.

Fran and husband Tim very helpful and friendly. The view of the lake is great. We are boaters and proximity to boat ramp was great. I would highly recommended this property. Last but not least we left some clothing in a closet and Tim has already packaged the items and shipped to us. Thanks again!
