We booked Ever's place last minute and so glad we did. The home was modern, clean, and beautiful. The views are absolutely spectacular. Ever met us in town and guided us to it which was super helpful. He is kind and informative, and we all had a wonderful stay.

Thank you for the fantastic stay! Tanyia and Rod are amazing hosts. We appreciated the communication and flexibility when booking and leaving. Great recommendations, can’t wait to try some of them when we return. The place is tidy and spotless. Loved the flowers and it’s very well stocked - has everything you need. Great A/C and the showers were so refreshing. The view from the living room is so beautiful of the lake. Our girls loved having their own private area with the king bed. The neighborhood is so peaceful and beautiful- perfect place for a stroll by fields with horses. As with so many places in Costa Rica, there are some steep dirt road inclines on the way - we had no trouble in our 4 wheel drive. This place offers clean, peaceful solitude to listen to the sounds of the Costa Rica jungle tucked away on the south side of Lake Arenal. We only spent evenings there so we didn’t go to the clubhouse.

The place has a spectacular view, ideal for large families and the house is very wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of space throughout the property and the house is spectacularly clean. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. There are no supermarkets nearby, so it is advisable to do your shopping before you get to the place. I would definitely come back.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely breathtaking! The property was stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cozy yet luxurious vibe. We were surrounded by gorgeous nature—lush greenery and serene landscapes that felt like a dream. We were worried the entire trip would be rainy, but to our delight, the skies cleared, giving us an incredible, unobstructed view of the volcano. It was the highlight of our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beauty and tranquility.

Samantha’s place was comfortable and in a beautiful setting. We saw a family of emerald toucans right outside living in the tree out in the front and other wildlife on the premises. We were very close to the monteverde park and curicancha reserve. We had a small plumbing issue but the host took care of this right away. The house itself could perhaps benefit from a few upgrades but nothing that would make us not stay there again. Overall we had a nice memorable stay.

What a beautiful place to stay! The view is incredible and you are constantly surrounded by birds singing (plus hummingbirds zipping around the bushes). The space itself is modern and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

It's a wonderful place to stay more time than the one we chose. It's a quiet place, with a great scenery and lots of wildlife. I will recommended for a week vacation away from everything.

This was my LIR to Arenal interim stop on way to La Fortuna since we landed after 2:00PM. I only wish we could have stayed for more than one night. It was clean and very elegant yet homey. The view in the morning was to die for.

This condo is in the most beautiful location, perfect view of the volcano from the balcony!! The space was clean and comfortable beds and furniture. Fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom with large jet tub, and in suite washer and dryer. The host had great communication. Responded quickly late in the evening to our booking request to let us stay in his beautiful place, saving us from the original nightmare Airbnb be booked for that night! I can’t thank the host enough for the responsiveness and the truly wonderful condo right on Lake Arenal!! P.S. Completely ignore the person that left the low rating review about this place. The person should be ashamed to leave a low review for such an incredible place!

We had an excellent stay here while in Monteverde. The views were unbeatable, and everything in the unit itself well maintained! Yami was an excellent host, very responsive and always ready to give recommendations. It was a very tranquil getaway, would certainly come back!

We stayed 7 nights at Danielle’s gorgeous home and loved it. The property is private and stunningly beautiful. With a huge variety of trees, including mango, the diversity of birds is wonderful. While in the house, the view out every window is so colorful and Danielle’s sense of design in the home reflects that. The 2 bedrooms are very comfortable with perfect air flow thru the windows and overhead fans allowing for perfect sleeping conditions. The large stone lined shower is fantastic and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. We also loved the location of the house. Close to Nuevo Arenal with it’s great restaurants and right where you need to be to start your drive towards Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna activities. Danielle is also the perfect host. Checking in to make sure everything is going well and super responsive with any questions you might have. We will definitely plan to stay here in the future.

We enjoy a lot to spend holidays in this place, is peaceful, beautiful and confortable, I really recommend Villa Corazon. Looking forward to come back soon.

We’ve stayed at some cool places over the years, but Casa Del Mono is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a perfect little getaway for anyone who wants to be close to nature but with all the comforts of home. It’s a very private property sitting way up the side of a mountain with a beautiful courtyard and hiking trails right out the front door. You simply cannot beat the view, and waking up to a chorus of birds like toucans, oropendolas, and tanagers was incredible (bring your binoculars)! The house itself is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is comfortable, and the shower/tub are gorgeous. It was everything we were hoping for in a Costa Rican stay, and I hope we get to visit again soon!

We had a great stay! Host communicated well and we found the home without issue. It is quite remote with a steep driveway, but it was exactly what we were looking for. Charming, spacious home, located just a couple minutes from the Reserve. Some windows were open when we arrived, I’m sure to keep everything ventilated, so there were some moths and such but nothing out of the ordinary for a Costa Rican home. We absolutely loved having access to the washer & dryer to do our laundry mid-trip. We loved our stay!

Perfect spot for staying in the La Fortuna/Arenal area of Costa Rica. Nice cozy villa that had all the necessities. Great view of the volcano, and close to all area attractions. Our host, Gabriela, provided a lot of great information and was always very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay.

Francesco's Hotel Mystica is literally the most relaxing place I've ever been in my entire life. My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night as part of our anniversary vacation, and by the next day we couldn't believe it had only been 24 hours. Villa Los Pericos has a breathtaking view of Lake Arenal and the volcanoes right from its front porch (complete with hammock and Adirondack chairs), and the all-glass wall of the villa opens up so you can catch the cool mountain breeze from your living room or kitchen. We were amazed as to how untouched by humans the lake was. No boats, and only one or two windsurfers. I really do hope it stays this way. The area is amazing, and landscape-wise it almost feels like the rolling hills of Ireland at times. With 10-15 degrees cooler temps (Fahrenheit) than the beach towns, you'll almost forget you're in Costa Rica for a moment. The main road around the lake is newly paved, so it's easy to get around and explore the small towns and a few restaurants / brewpubs, if you do decide to leave the Mystica grounds. While we were perfectly content with the views and the villa itself, the overall estate (Hotel Mystica) has so much more to add to the tranquil experience. A waterfall dipping pool, homecook restaurant with fireplace/lounge, and an expansive yoga platform facing the jungle right next to a stream are just a few of the amenities you can enjoy. Francesco is an excellent host who wants to make sure your experience is relaxing and perfect. Homecooked breakfast and a platter of fresh fruit before checkout topped off an unforgettable experience. I would certainly stay here again -- and next time, for more than a day!
