Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lagoa

Very nice house with a good location: quiet, close to cliffs and beach, and also close to some nice restaurants. The house has everything you need for a good holiday.

The house is small but freshly renovated, thoughtfully designed, and equipped by the owners. A perfect retreat for digital nomads - fast internet, lots of power outlets on every wall. It was visibly created with the thought of making it as effortless as possible - everything, be it a power outlet, a towel hanger, or anything, is just where you need it and entirely frictionless for use. The owners allow guests to use the outdoor swimming pool and garden area. While it is shared with the owners, we rarely saw anybody there during our 3-week stay, so we felt very comfortable. The house is a 10-minute walk from Ferragudo's main square, with many restaurants offering fantastic food and a friendly atmosphere. Luis, the owner, immediately responded to any request, even on a late weekend night. In all, a great time.

Salicos House is a beautiful place to stay in Algarve, quiet and calm but still very close to the most beautiful beaches of the area. The house is just as in the pictures, clean and pretty. Andrè is nice and very helpful, always available and polite. Highly recommended, especially if you have a car!

The place was clean and nice. The host is friendly and can help with some recommendations. 15-20 minutes by car to many different and nice beaches. 10 min by car to get to Portimão with lots of restaurants. Good place to stay

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

Nice stay! We spent just under 3 weeks in the house from mid-April and truly appreciated the perfectly equipped kitchen — it had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay, with a lot of rain, and the house felt a bit chilly (pellets for heating were impossible to find locally). The nearby beaches are truly beautiful. You need a car to get anywhere — it's not possible to walk safely from the house without using roads. You can hear constant noise from the nearby motorway.... Courtyard is quite small and not grassy (covered in stones). On the bright side, the window insect nets are excellent, the beds were very comfortable, and the scent of orange trees surrounding the house was simply wonderful. Communication with Rochelle was smooth and friendly. Thank you!

Recommended accommodation without hesitation. As soon as we arrived, Mickaël was there to welcome us. He is very friendly. The house is impeccable, the entire private ground floor with private pool. A tenant lives upstairs but has their own access to the outside so no worries, they are discreet so if you see them once it's fine. The pool is bigger than in the photos so really interesting with barbecue and terrace. We loved our stay at Mickaël's and will come back without hesitation. As for the dog mentioned in several reviews, yes the neighbors have dogs, they are behind the wall on the barbecue side in kennels but during the day they are not there... you hear the barking a little in the evening and at night but it's really not all night or others in any case it can't ruin I think your stay unless a barking bothers you. House really lived up to our expectations.

Good accommodation especially for children but rather in the spring, summer, fall ,) Without a car, it's rather isolated on campus … in general, Portugal has to think about how to become more bicycle-friendly Also with the food - restaurants in the area, the typical Portuguese cuisine is missed - yes yes pizza, hamburgers etc. can be found but that can't be it There was plenty of sun, but somehow I couldn't find the heart of Portugal - maybe my mistake or the global just takes over and rolls over the Portuguese Agradeço

Great apartment I felt like I was in my house since I had everything I needed, it has all the appliances we need in our daily lives. Outdoor Space Well Treated and Careful,. Location is perfect, we were able to go anywhere dr car to 10 minutes from the Zona beach very calm and quiet perfect to rest. Just get in and accommodate.

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim's accommodation, everything was similar to the listing description. Very well located accommodation, easy access to shops, 5 min from the beach, everything was perfect. The accommodation is very nice with a terrace right next to a very large and beautiful pool, the children loved it! Our family stay was lovely! Communication with Joaquim was perfect, responsive to all requests, even when we got lost late in the evening... 🤣 Thank you for everything and we'll be back with pleasure!

A wonderful weeks stay in a beautiful villa, close to the sea in pleasant surroundings.

It was what we expected, since being in the center of the Algarve, we were able to move in both directions and visit almost everything.

Our family had a great time at Villa Miramar. The location was great with restaurants nearby and a beautiful walk along the coast to the town and beach. We enjoyed the pool and having BBQs in the evening. Fabio was extremely helpful and communicative throughout our stay. I would definitely go there again !!

New Year's Eve at Jennifer's was even better than expected. The house is fantastic, everything was perfect when we arrived and we were warmly welcomed with all the information about the house. The weather was great for using the private pool, and the surroundings were as peaceful as you could wish for a few days' getaway. We were able to use the barbecue outside, enjoying the sunlight, walk around the surrounding area and smell the nature. A place that makes you want to come back!

If you feel attracted by the photos posted, go for it - it’s exactly like that, with that level of detail, paired with Natalia’s friendliness and hospitality. She had tons of recommendations for us, of which we’ve tried a few and never got disappointed! Enjoyed the short walking distance to a beautiful beach, and quiet times at night. We really loved our stay at the house! Bernardo was really helpful and always responded quickly. The house is just like the pictures and we loved the calm neighborhood. There is a beautiful beach 5-10 min walk from the house. The kitchen had everything needed (and more) to cook, including tupperware which were very helpful for the beach! AC works very well. There was also a umbrella for the beach which was very practical. We loved our stay and would recommend the house to everyone :) They even found us an apartment for Lisbon!

A beautiful, artistically designed retreat in the middle of Lagoa – with a fantastic garden, lots of greenery, a wonderful pool and a well-equipped kitchen. We cooked a lot, grilled and enjoyed music thanks to the great music system. Absolute privacy, perfect for relaxing. Two rooms are on the street, it was a little louder there, but the back is quiet and relaxing. Lagoa itself is quiet and not very touristy, but perfectly located to discover the most beautiful bays and beaches of the Algarve by car. Especially recommended: the restaurant Gaspacho & Migas and the Pastelaria Algarve – both right around the corner. Our dog was welcome and also felt very comfortable. A place where nothing is missing and which we left only with a heavy heart. We will definitely be back!

You can't emphasize it often enough: the view from the terrace is breathtaking. The house is certainly one of the most beautiful in the urbanisacion. Great also to have 2 terraces, plenty of space and good amenities in the kitchen, good internet and very good water pressure, which you also don't have everywhere. Communication with Rosario was very good. The apartment is also fantastically located, right on one of the most beautiful beaches, the praia nova, and the coastal hiking trail to Marinha and Cueva de Bengil. Really great. The only thing we found a bit unfortunate was that Alporchinhos is really only built for vacationers, there is not something authentic in the village itself. But the great house and coast compensate for it and in Almacau de Pêra, a nearby place, there is a very good market. We will certainly come back.

The apartment is in a great location and is well equipped, however we thought it was a little expensive compared with others we have rented. Clarified was very quick to respond to any minor issues we had and we enjoyed our stay.

Jan’s “Casa Vango” is a true Airbnb gem. The house is modern, and very well designed. We were 6 friends in total, and the house and its facilities worked really well for us. I can also see this house working very well for families. Pool has a perfect position which means loads of sunlight throughout the day. Area under the cantilever is fantastic for dining and chatting. Nice bbq and the sauna is also very good - proper timber and decent size. The whole house has a “wrap around” so you can get from one side to the other without going inside - ie. with wet feet. The garage accommodates 2 cars and feels safe, literally on the house’s doorstep. I could go on with the house on the inside but let’s just say you won’t be disappointed there either. Good sized rooms and 3 bathrooms. Walking distance to Ferragudo and easy to get to Portimão etc. In summary the house felt good value for money and Jan was always responsive and helped when needed. I would come back, definitely recommended!

Great villa, away from the city and at the same time close to everything, the house is quiet, very spacious and super well equipped (kitchen with everything you need, bathrooms with hot tubs, etc.)! There's a lot to do around, Portimão, lagoa, Lagos for beaches and boat trips. The pool is very nice, without asking the host to heat it, it was between 26 and 28 degrees. The activities planned in the garden are a real plus for moments of conviviality (table tennis, basketball, dart, etc.). The host was very attentive, he responds very quickly and took the time to welcome us for the Check in, show us around the villa, answer our questions as well as share points of interest in the area. Also, when we arrived, the host had planned a welcome gift for us with drinks, cakes, etc! Have a great stay!

We stayed for a week and felt right at home, just as advertised. We were surprised by the simple and intimate access to the beach. The whole house has a nice charm and we fell in love with the area. Very friendly and always responding quickly to messages, we thank you very much for everything you have provided us on our vacation. We will definitely be back.
