Me and the family had a good trip we loved the pool and was happily surprised that they had a hot tub and other amenities that was not advertised.

Great stay and location. House was very clean and well kept. Would stay again.

Benjamin was beyond expectations. He was so friendly. Communication was amazing. And was so understanding. We went for a weekend softball tournament. Place was so nice, pool was a plus. Couldn’t thank him enough for the best stay. Will be back in a later future!

Great place to stay, the house was very clean, with great smells throughout. Bedding was comfortable. The pool was perfect, large yard the front porch was relaxing and serene and the host was very responsive. Will definitely book this property again next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our time in this house. Everything was in good shape and fully functional. There has been a lot of toys for the pool and my kids liked the Lego bricks a lot.

The Cajun Getaway is southern comfort at its finest. It was like home away from home for us. We love everything about it and it’s on our list of places to revisit. Centrally located to all the best places to visit and dine in SW Louisiana. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were respectful of our privacy. 10 out of 10.

Just awesome! My family (2 adults and 3 kids aged 14, 11 and 2) was in the area for a youth sporting event and stayed for two nights and everything far exceded our expectations. The property had tons of space in the yard and is very well maintained. Lots of room between neighbors' homes as well. The pool area was clean and comfortable with a ton of covered patio area to enjoy being outside even if it is hot out. Once inside everything is clean and clutter free but at the same time, cozy and just gives that homey feeling. The layout also felt much bigger than the pictures described. The kitchen was fully furnished and decorated. The beds were very comfortable with spotless linens and the bathrooms were pristine. My family has stayed at a dozen or so airbnbs the last few years and this one was by far everyone's favorite. No one wanted to leave! We might go back sometime, just to stay there again. So if we are ever back in that area again, we will absolutely check there first!

Traveled to Louisiana for a week of work there. Brought my family along so they could vacation while I was working. If you are looking for a beautiful peaceful space, inside and out, this is the home for you. Carlos gave great instructions on check-in and check-out. He was flexible on both as we came in very late the first day and checked out a little later than planned. House is very family friendly and we felt right at home. Lots of wildlife to watch and the river is just a short walk from the back porch. Close to both Lafayette (about 10 miles) and Baton Rogue (about 25 miles). When I need to go back we will definitely book this home. The master suite has a bathroom just like the Kennedy's (IYKYK.....Southpark). Love this place!

We had a WONDERFUL stay here. Our families got to stay together as there are two cabins on the same property. Drinking coffee in the hot tub was a highlight for the adults. The kids loved feeding minnows in the pond and exploring the woods. Most importantly my dogs loved running on the land.

This place was perfect for our family of 8. It was semi-secluded and felt like home. The fishing dock and fire pit were great bonuses for the kids. Large living space, lots of comfy beds, three bathrooms, good kitchen area, plus outdoor areas. Great spot! So glad we found it!

The cabin was super cute. The windows in the front offered an amazing sunrise and sunset. The living area and kitchen were super cute. The only thing I didn’t like was the full sized bed in the downstairs bedroom…there is enough room for a king sized bed. The way the bed is pushed to the slanted wall, also decreases the use of some of the bed. To avoid bumping our heads, we slept the opposite way. The bed was comfortable, just small. The upstairs is super cute but the stairs seemed a little steep and there isn’t a bathroom up there so sleeping up there was not even a consideration. I would recommend this cabin, we enjoyed our stay.

This place is extraordinary, and Jeff was the consummate host. He was super-responsive, gave lots of helpful suggestions for things to do and went out of his way to make us feel fully at home with both total privacy and total availability. The home itself is wildly wonderful, exactly like the photos except more expansive inside and outside, with a lot of land. The landscape is gorgeous, and the bayou could not be prettier. I recommend this place for anyone!

We had a delightful stay. The weather was great and the surrounding area offered many different things to do. The apartment fit four adults and two dogs very well. The outdoor area was large and we spent most of our time out there. The beds were so comfortable as were the linens. A+ all the way around!

My husband and I had a long weekend trip away from our home in Baton Rouge, and we absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. I was wearing out the bird ID app on my phone, trying to identify all the different birds I could hear. The views are incredible (ESPECIALLY from the hot tub), and the actual cabin was so cozy without feeling overly cluttered. Being able to have our dog with us was the cherry on top!! Every morning I walked her down the road, which is very quiet but well-maintained, so if you like to jog or bike, it’s like a nice, wide walking trail! We can’t wait to come back.

We rented both Bayou Chateau snd Chateau Royale. It was perfect for our family. We had other family members to visit and the outdoor deck space was great for entertaining. Both rentals have very unique decor and they were both furnished with everything we needed. The owners were very accommodating and responded promptly to all correspondence. The children enjoyed the fire pit and fishing in the bayou. We would definitely rent again!

Very relaxing and peaceful stay right along the bayou. We loved the character and decor of the space. The hot tub and the dock outside were nice amenities. Beds were super comfortable and there is an oversized claw foot tub and plenty of hot water. Pet friendly and plenty of room for dogs to run. A couple of drawbacks to consider…the AC generally works well, but the bathroom does get uncomfortably hot in the afternoon and early evening. Additionally, the wifi wasn’t the strongest. Finally, it is very much an old barn and not all the doors and windows seal well, so you may get a couple of 6 or 8-legged visitors during your stay. Par for the course in rural Louisiana, but good for anyone squeamish to be aware of. Overall a great spot and would stay again.

Friends and I stayed at David’s place during our time visiting Lafayette and attending Festival International. We had a wonderful stay and David was a wonderful host!

Alia's place is quiet and cozy but close to everything we needed! Alia was very helpful qith local recommendations and responsive when i beeded something. She was specifically helpful when we needed something that was missing from the house. She had it right over within 10 minute which I really appreciated! Great host!

We felt so fortunate that our previous booking fell through when we arrived in Lafayette and Paz was so kind to accept our request and organize her cleaners right away to prepare the place for us. We felt right at home with the comfortable furnishings, eclectic decor, well stocked kitchen, and patio spaces. One of our (adult) daughters said that we may have lost a pool (the previous booking) but we gained a treehouse (which is really more our style). Paz and her son Eli were quick to respond to our requests, and we couldn’t have been more happy with our stay.

I stayed at Sandra's place in Breaux Bridge for the four day Cycle Zydeco bike tour. It was about a half mile from the event location at St. Bernard's school, easy to find and walkable on sidewalks. The house is a one-story three bedroom with two baths, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. The air conditioning worked well and was essential after 40 mile days on the bike in 85 degree heat. I rented thinking I'd be there with two other guys, but ended up being solo after my fellow cyclists cancelled. This was really an ideal location for Zydeco, far enough from the center of town to avoid noise from the event, close enough to walk or ride to and from within ten minutes (walking) or five minutes (on the bike). I hope to do Cycle Zydeco again next year, this time with a few other folks, and will certainly plan to rent this place again.

A great place to stay for the Crawfish Festival or just anytime! Everyone felt comfortable. Walking distance to almost anything you need or want. Treasure was awesome! Will probably be back!

Staying at Jays was a GREAT experience! Extremely clean home with anything you could possibly need for a great stay! He was super flexible with check in and his home truly did feel like a home away from our own! Would 10/10 recommend staying with Jay at any of his properties!

What a perfect house for what I needed! I originally looked for a home large enough for my bridesmaids and I to get ready. Then after finding this, I decided to also hold my rehearsal dinner here. All of my guests were locals, and everyone was so impressed with the amazing find- this home was beautiful and such a great space. Some of my friends are already thinking of the “girls weekends” we could have here. The porch was absolutely beautiful as well, lined with old church pews. I will no doubt use this place again in the near future.

Talli was an amazing host! She went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I. She was very responsive and her cottage was a joy to stay in
