Deep Eddy Backyard Studio with Treetop Views

Look out on to oak trees from the high windows of this tranquil little studio, with its modern European ambience. Wood paneling and ceilings enrich the interior, along with a retro local poster. Play ping pong outside on the new steel table. The studio is tucked below two large oak trees which you can enjoy with the high windows throughout the studio.. The size of the studio is approx. 400 sq feet & is a very comfortable space. Great access to just about everything! Refrigerator, Microwave, small cook top & coffee maker available in the studio. We are available if needed! Wake up to a walk or run around the Hike & Bike Trail, just down the hill from the studio. On the way back, grab a smoothie at the Austin famous Juiceland. Spend the day cooling-off at Deep Eddy Pool or kayaking & paddle boarding along Lady Bird Lake. Wrap up the day with dinner at the hip Pool Burger, followed by a visit to one of the last standing original Austin dive bars, Deep Eddy Cabaret. You can walk, catch an Uber/Lyft or drive into downtown from our studio. If you like ping pong, enjoy some fun w/ the newly added outdoor steel ping pong table. We are licensed with the City of Austin to host Short Term Rentals. Airbnb collects the State of Texas Hotel Tax of 6% & we pay the City of Austin Hotel tax of 11%.

South Congress Apartment

Our apartment is perfect for the budget traveler. It's very clean and with about 500 square feet it is spacious enough for 2 guests, although there is a fold out couch if you need it. Be sure to use the pillow top and comforter located on top of the bookshelf next to the couch. My wife and I lived here before buying the main house on the property. It was a great place to live and gave us many happy years. I'm sure you will love it too! Located near Congress and Riverside, just a few blocks away from longtime Austin establishments such as Guero's Taco Bar, The Continental Club, Allen's Boots, and many other amazing restaurants, shops and music venues. The South Congress bridge, where the bats emerge at sunset every evening from March to October, is just a few more blocks away and leads directly into the downtown area only a mile from our apartment, all within walking distance. You can pick up the hike and bike trail at the bridge as well, and it runs for many miles around Lady Bird Lake. Public bike rentals are within a five minute walk on Congress Avenue. There is plenty of parking on the street in front of our house.

Cozy Modern Cottage with Quiet Back Yard

This one bedroom home is very cozy but with plenty of room to stretch out and truly relax. Guests will have access to the entire house Carole and Kerry live nearby and will be at your service should you need anything. Plum Cottage is in the Zilker Park neighborhood. Go for a run on the nearby trails or take a dip in the cool waters of world famous Barton Springs. The cottage is close to great tacos and a true honky-tonk for dancing. If you do not have a car we recommend using Urber to get around. There is also a bus stop only one block away with an express route to downtown. There are several resturaunts, coffee shops and a Walgreens within a few minutes walk.

This tiny home was lovingly designed by an artist during quarantine, and now you can step into her world! Enjoy the photo books, take a soak in the extra-deep tub, or gaze out the window up in the loft. This is a calm, cottagecore oasis situated in the Hyde Park neighborhood, a five minute walk from Shipe Park and pool, Quack’s Bakery, Julio’s Tex Max, Hyde Park Grill, Juiceland and Antonelli’s Cheese Shop. If you’re into highly organized spaces and library ladders, you’ve found the right spot!

Walkable East Austin Casita (Little House)

This is a trendy, comfortable and convenient guesthouse for spending a fun-filled getaway in East Austin. Our casita is walkable to many of Austin’s hottest spots, including the Moody Center: Austin’s largest music venue. Built in 2020, our guesthouse features a lofted queen-sized bed, a couch with a pull-out twin mattress, an elegant walk-in shower, smart TV, and small appliances including fridge-freezer, microwave, and Nespresso coffee maker.
