Mascot Cottage - 2 bedroom eco friendly cottage

Our 2 bedroom Cottage is very neat and tidy and near our home with a garden view on our family farm. You will enjoy the sunset in peace and quiet from the veranda which is all milled timber from our farm. You will have the use of our pool, BBQ, laundry and plenty of car parks. We are only 20km off the Mid Western Hwy along a dirt road which is currently in good condition. 40km in total from West Wyalong. A top spot for bird watching and star gazing. We have dogs, chooks, a cat and peacock!

"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. We had the most beautiful stay at Olivilla - our favourite Airbnb stay ever. The house is lovely - very spacious, comfortable and clean, with a very-well equipped kitchen, pool, spa and even a pool table. It has a very peaceful feel, with beautiful views into the distance and lovely sun streaming in the windows in the mornings. But the most special part was the care that hosts Jill and Greg showed us. The fridge was stocked with local produce on arrival, with home-made sourdough bread on the counter for us! Jill was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you Jill and Greg!

We had a very enjoyable 3-night stay at Mulberry Cottage. Beautiful little house with stunning views of the open countryside and fitted out with quality furnishings, equipment and utensils. Warm and cosy with both aircon and wood fire (plenty of wood supplied). Tamir and Diana were very easy to communicate with and checked in on us throughout our stay. Natalie, the property owner, had left us a bottle of the farm's own olive oil and a loaf of home-baked bread both of which were very much appreciated. We highly recommend Mulberry Cottage for a truly Australian country stay.

This house is great, close to Griffith but far enough out to be perfectly peaceful. The place is spotless, everything is of excellent quality. The small terrace overlooking the little lake is a real bonus. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take a quiet break.
