Beautiful Barn in Aubrac

Hélène Véronique SandrineRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had an absolutely PERFECT stay at Christine's, Le Timon in Laguiole. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Christine, a very kind host, always available, communicative and with great tips. She made our stay even more enjoyable with her kindness and knowledge of the place. The accommodation is simply exceptional: decorated with a lot of taste, every detail is carefully thought out to offer comfort and well-being. It immediately feels like home. The surrounding setting is beautiful, soothing, ideal for recharging your batteries. A huge thank you to Christine for this unforgettable experience. We'll be happy to come back, that's for sure!
A peaceful lake scene is framed by a moss-covered tree branch, showcasing calm waters reflecting the surrounding landscape. A person stands on the shore, engaged in fishing. In the background, a bridge spans the lake, connecting both shores.

"Gîte des lauriers" House with garden

GlenysRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Travelling from New Zealand to stay three nights in this stunning little French village we found Thierry’s medieval cottage delightful. It is spacious and comfortable. We put the kitchen to good use and enjoyed having the opportunity to explore the village in the cool of the morning and evenings when many day trippers had left. The views from the village are truly stunning, and the car parking card a real bonus. Couple of tips, the staircase to bedroom is small and steep. We left our suitcases downstairs, taking whatever required up to bedroom /bathroom area. We would also highly recommend a stop at the supermarket before coming up to the village to collect any basics you may require as once settled in and parked it is a long walk back down the hill if you need some milk. We would highly recommend Thierry’s place and a stay in Saint Criq, a real experience not to be missed. Thierry’s information re location and access are superb! Making the visit extremely easy.
A clear view of a tranquil lake framed by lush greenery is presented. The landscape features rolling hills in the background, with scattered homes visible along the waterfront. The scene is complemented by a wooden railing in the foreground, enhancing the sense of openness.

Maison Rossignol, heated pool & garden

KathrynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our family of five spent an amazing four days at this beautiful property in the tiny village of Lentillac Saint Blaise in the Lot region. Jean Charles and Annick are such gracious hosts - we received a warm welcome the first evening, where Jean Charles invited us to help ourselves to everything in his vegetable garden and the kids loved gathering fresh strawberries. raspberries, gooseberries and lettuce. On our last morning we had a wonderful conversation about local authors and the history of the region. Every corner of their house and garden shows fine attention to detail and beautiful aesthetic sense. Jean Charles built much of the gorgeous furniture himself in his metal workshop. The pool is just perfect and beautifully maintained for daily swims after sightseeing in the many magnificent villages and sites around the region. Everything was so peaceful and comfortable. The linens and toiletries are top quality. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for a restful stay!
The image captures a serene stone house with an inviting patio area adorned with climbing vines. Potted plants and flowers line the walkway, leading to a dining table set for outdoor enjoyment. A lush green landscape is visible in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

Lucie and Germain's pretty house offers an ideal setting for a peaceful family vacation and discovering the region. Their house is spacious, warm, tastefully decorated and offers a superb panorama of Cantal. We had a great holiday there at the end of the year. Special mention for their little Bali cat who was a fabulous host:)
