The City of Carcassonne is less than half an hour away, the beaches of Gruissan and Narbonne 45 minutes away, Spain 1 hour away, many Cathar castles nearby...

Chez Federico et Pierre: the trapper's refuge

Small house of 6m2 with covered terrace and large hanging relaxation net, perched in the middle of the trees in a quiet setting. First human presence (we!) 200m away: you will be alone in the middle of the woods. The 300 m walk includes a steep slope. Coffee and tea are available. We offer homemade meals. Bed linen provided, towels not provided. Communication via Airbnb, because the phone does not get a good signal at our place (in the cabin it's good).

British owners Peter and Tom welcome groups of up to six people. There is also potential to accommodate an additional two guests (plus child) in an adjoining room with private bathroom. Close to lakes (Raviege, St Peyres, Laouzas, Vesole), in the Haut Languedoc Regional Nature Park, hiking trails. 1-2 hours drive: the Millau Viaduct, Albi, the city of Carcassonne, reach the Mediterranean, the Canal du Midi, the Sidobre etc.
