English, Spanish and French speaking, Marie and Fred welcome you in their place, a preserved environment located at 800m asl, in the forest of the Montagnes Bourbonnaises, Auvergne, France. Skiing, trekking, biking, climbing, horse riding, fishing, watersports, nature activities available nearby. The gite is surrounded by woods and nature. Commodities within 15 minutes driving.

Need to go green? Come and recharge your batteries away from noise, lights and pollution in this 1812 retreat where greenery, old stones, old wood await you, but with all modern comforts. Wifi permanently cut off (except in emergencies) for less frequent disturbances, no TV but video projectors for movie buffs. Large kitchen, living room and shared bathroom. Rentable by the room (3 bedrooms and 3 different prices) or as a self-catering cottage (I live in another building).

Upon arrival, the beds will be made, towels will be provided and you will have complimentary cleaning products for the house. You can also enjoy the largest mountain bike area in France (Massif des Bois Noirs mountain bike area).

You will stay in part of a fully renovated old farmhouse, 5 minutes from the historic village of St Maurice. The very quiet environment enjoys large spaces and will allow travelers in search of serenity to reconnect with nature to the sound of croaking frogs and rooster crowing. The courtyard is private and not overlooked. Sports enthusiasts will also find what they are looking for through the many walks that the surroundings offer.
