The accommodation is perfect for a stay as a couple. The beach is barely a 2-minute walk and shops are also a 5-minute walk. Great place to park the car and enjoy. Everything is as described with quality equipment. I would highly recommend it!

Pascal was away but was very responsive to our messages. The house is large, well-equipped and cool, especially with temperatures at 33 on the first day. The village has a lot of charm, is preserved and far from the tourism of some villages classified as "most beautiful villages in France". We are delighted with our stay.

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for recharging and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent stay at Sylvie's. The house is spacious, very pleasant and comfortable. The bedding is excellent and the veranda is a real plus. The place was very clean and we enjoyed finding the beds made on arrival, as well as tea towels and towels in sufficient quantity. Lots of space to park on the large lot where the house is located. Good restaurant nearby. Perfect stay!

Excellent welcome, clear and simple instructions. Perfect. The spaces are well thought out and very large. The accommodation is very well located, very well equipped and very clean. You will definitely have a good time at Aurelien's, I would recommend it.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

It is a beautiful cottage in the countryside with the necessary equipment to accommodate a group of 18 people: very good bedding, kitchen accessories in quantity, and spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. We have at our disposal outdoor games: badminton, shuffleboard, darts, etc. to spend a nice afternoon. We had a great weekend there with family and friends. Séverine and Aurélien are welcoming hosts, available and very kind.

Functional and well arranged accommodation. Bucolic and quiet environment despite the passage of the A10 motorway nearby (traffic noise). See if it's not more inconvenient to enjoy the terrace in summer... Well located in relation to sightseeing in this area. Friendly and available host.

Very pleasant, clean and peaceful cottage. Everything is there to have a good time. The bedding is comfortable and the rooms are large. The place is well renovated. Only downside, the draught of the fireplace does not always work very well because we had a little smoke in the room but it is not very serious and we will keep the address side because it is a good place.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Clean, tidy "cabin spirit" accommodation. Bright, spacious, exotic accommodation. Many activities around to do such as visit the citadel and the city of Château d'Oleron, the beach and many paths in the woods.

new accommodation, very functional, beautiful bedroom, south-facing terrace to share with the owner but never there during our stay. very responsive and smiling host. Quiet place to spend a few days. suburban area not far from the highway which avoids traffic jams, on the contrary no shops in the neighborhood but for us it is not a problem.

Great location, great communication and lots of information provided. The apartment was fab, very spacious and nice decor, had everything we needed and more for our 3 night stay including a great terrace!
