Very pleasant stay in a quiet area but close to beaches and the Port de la Cotinière. Small but functional and very well arranged accommodation; small terrace with enough space to dine or have breakfast. But above all a very warm welcome from our host Muriel, discreet and smiling, we wish we had more time to get to know each other. But 5 days it goes by quickly and we went, with our 7-year-old grandson, to discover the charms of this wild and beautiful island and the activities it offered us. We had a great time in this beautiful apartment. Everything was perfectly in line with the listing: clean, comfortable, well decorated and in a great location. Bruno was an exceptional host, very friendly and welcoming, always available if needed. Thanks to him, we felt right at home from the start. We had a wonderful time staying in Clotildes apartment. It felt very homely and cozy. It was lovely to have the market right outside for picking up fresh bread every morning and amazing vegetables and fish. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and we hope to be able to return one day.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Very nice house, very well decorated and very well-equipped. It has a holiday and relaxation atmosphere. Some inconveniences nonetheless: we hear the noise from the road which is very busy or even dangerous when you want to cross it. The wifi is only accessible in the bedrooms while it is in the living room that we use it the most. It would also be nice to offer an all-inclusive option (cleaning and bed linen) widely spread on airbnb. It is inconvenient to have to contact the concierge to order cleaning and sheets. It's still a great place!

We had a great time. Dominique gave us a very warm welcome; she is friendly and really very nice. The accommodation is as described: comfortable, well decorated, and very pleasant to stay in. Saint Denis d'Oléron, less touristy than other villages on the island, seduced us with its authenticity. We'll be happy to go back. Thanks for everything Dominique.

We had a pleasant stay. We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and take a bike ride (a shame that the rental shops in La Bree les bains are closed in low season but we were able to rent them not far away in St Denis d 'Oléron). All within walking distance. Recommended.

What can I say except that the accommodation is sublime, in a beautiful setting. The ultra-complete amenities, the comfort of having bikes for everyone as well as the restaurants/bars (the Atypique!) without forgetting the nearby beaches won us over. We will be back!

Beautiful accommodation ideally located in La Cotinière where you can do the main things on foot. Very well equipped and very well decorated with its beautiful terrace and courtyard to park the car. Laurent's restaurant tips were well appreciated and the place is great for discovering Oléron. A big congratulations to Sébastien and Laurent, we can only recommend this beautiful accommodation!

We had a great time. The house is spacious, its setting is exceptional, quiet in the dune, a few minutes walk from La Cotinière and Matha beach. A big thank you to Pascal for hosting us, for his availability and his special touches. We will be happy to stay here during our next stay on Oléron!

Pauline's accommodation is very nice. The rooms are spacious, the apartment is well-appointed and the setting is very relaxing with a nice view from the balcony of the lake and the sea. Pauline is very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this accommodation for discovering La Rochelle and its surroundings.

Fantastic place to stay for our weekend in Ile de Re. The place was right around the corner of the stunning port of Saint Martin, and the apartment looked even better than the photos - super cosy and had all you could ask for. Corinne and Eric were the best hosts, very friendly and welcoming, flexible with us and always on hand to help with recommendations. We thoroughly recommend!!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the Ile de Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental next door, friendly). The added bonus is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views (even from the shower!), and delightful little private beach - where our kids enjoyed playing while we played boules on the lawn above. Lovely walk into the old port, either along the beach path, or inland along the beautiful grassy avenue. Great restaurants in the town, although we enjoyed most meals at home so we could make the most of the fantastic views. A wonderful stay!

Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!
