Monthly Rentals in Kyotango

This was a beautiful and peaceful stay in the country side. Shun was so kind and picked us up at the train station and took us to the supermarket as it was dinner time and restaurants were closed. His wife drove us to the station day of check out which was extremely kind. Great place to stay to get away from the city with a great host!

We rent a car and drive from Kinosaki onse. This beautiful home is a must stay if you are going to visit Kyotango. It’s a precious chance to experience an ancient home but still well-equipped, clean and tidy. The local restaurants that we ate ( a wonderful pizza restaurant, a ryokan lunch/ dinner nearby or a kind of mama kitchen nearby, all gave us amazing and peaceful experience. The host is super friendly and recommended so many useful tips to walk/eat around. We did enjoy: biking around the village, walking 3mins to the beach 🏖️, experience onsen nearby, visited a wisteria garden. Tips: it’s much more convenient if you drive your car/ rent a car to get here.

We stayed as 3 families, 7 people including children. The interior of the room was more wonderful than it looked in the photos, and the living room, with its high ceilings and spacious living room, was a luxurious and very relaxing space. The whole room was well organized and cleaned, and I was able to use it comfortably. Unfortunately, it was raining this time, but we still had a good time indoors. I'd love to visit in a different season if I get the chance.

A stunning ocean-view room! Kyotango had no crowds, allowing us to spend a relaxing day. After enjoying the beautiful sunset, we drove to a cozy, home-style izakaya in the village for a delicious dinner. Highly recommended for those traveling by car!
