PLEASE READ ALL THE INFO IN FURTHER DESCRIPTIONS because this is a specific area.Bakar is a small isolated village in the center of all large tourist places. It does not have a beach and you need to have a car to move arround. All the interesting places to see are in range of 5-20 kilometers(beach Kostrena,Crikvenica,Opatija,Rijeka).Studio has a small indor place and a large outdoor area(terrace and garden).It is located in old city up the hill and you have 30 stairs to get to the apartment.

The apartments are ideal for all forms of rest, recreation and enjoyment. In just a few minutes drive you can reach the beach in Kostrena. Nearby there is town of Crikvenica, Opatija and the island of Krk, racetrack Grobnik and ski resort Platak.

Dobrodošli u ugodan i opuštajući studio apartman u kojem ćete napuniti baterije i osjećati se kao kući :) Lokacija je odlična za one koji žele biti blizu centra ( 5 min hoda do Korza), a opet dovoljno udaljeni od gradske buke. Marcelo’s home was more than described. Every inch is brand new with a boutique high end touch. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and shower. The views out the window of the cafe square and water are tranquil and picturesque.

Really worth every penn! We were stuck in traffic for a long time and did not arrive until after midnight, but were still personally and very nicely received. Really everything very clean and well decorated. There was nothing missing in the kitchen either. The location is ideal, you can quickly get to the highway and are close to very nice beaches and grocery stores. We felt very comfortable and welcome and would definitely come back. Thank you!

Just so long as you realize that you'll be getting a really small place to stay -- and one that is probably too small for two to share comfortably, then you'll do just fine. The family share an adjacent space, and they are really interesting to be with, top-notch all the way.

Studio In a Stone House With Garden

I spent 3 nights at Dunja’s place, and I wish I booked 3 more ! She made me feel very welcome by making me traditional Croatian coffee when I arrived, and gave me a few local recommandations too. Just a warning, this is a very small village, and if you don’t have a car getting around the region might be a bit difficult, especially cause there’s not that many buses, but I knew it from the beginning and that’s exactly what was appealing to me so I’m not complaining! The place is small but very clean, and stayed cool even though the weather wasn’t ! I would definitely recommend a stay here :)
