It’s a really nice house—very aesthetic and minimalist. It’s clean and conveniently located near the city center. My family loved the place! It felt like a home away from home. Also, the host, Ma’am Ariane, is very considerate, helpful, and accommodating and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Glad I was able to find Sir Omar's place for our visitors to stay. It was a spacious, clean and cozy place. Our visitors enjoyed their stay. But more than the place, communicating with Sir Omar was a breeze. He is very accommodating to our requests for as long as it doesn't sacrifice other guests.

Beautiful Native bamboo bungalow on the river

As promised... Our second trip to El Oma Lufo was better than our first!  It's hard to put all the adventure into words on a screen.  This time we rented a larger unit and it was AMAZING.  The beds are comfortable. The Jungle is alive! You can see it, feel it and hear it all around you.  I was able to work on my regular schedule with a sim card in a hot spot while sitting on the patio of the Hut, and on the wood furniture around the property.  There are electrical plugs EVERYWHERE! Bring an adapter!   It was almost like we were home this time.  On this trip we took an INCREDIBLE trek into the Jungle...  As if we weren't already in the jungle! 😀 We drove out to the town where Marissa was raised. Then we hiked up a river about a mile to a piece of property they own.  Their staff, mostly family, cooked rice, tuna, pork and tilapia on the spot.  They cooked it with basic tools, pots, over fire that they made themselves.  They have obviously been doing this forever. There was no hesitation, delay or struggle in getting everything burning and cooking.  Cooking rice over a fire in a pot is VERY hard to perfect and they nailed it.  They got big banana leaves for us to eat off of.  They even brewed up coffee for us! Wow.  The scenery is incredible. Marissa's "jungle feet" are wild!  She moves through the rough territory with ease.  We were surrounded by rural farm lands, only farmable with animals like carabao (Water Buffalo).  It is really enlightening to see how these people live happily and healthily off the land.  As soon as it started, we feasted and were heading back. We made it back before dusk.  The trip back was shorter and faster as we traveled over land vs water through the farm lands.  This was like an Eagle Scouts meets Survivor trip. It was so easy and seamless thanks to Wesley and his team.  The Tuna Festival was happening in General Santos, so Wesley took us down and gave us the tour. Tuna is a HUGE export in this area.  It's so fresh and delicious.  We were treated like celebrities! Locals were taking pictures with us and laughing uncontrollably. It was totally adorable. The people are so nice everywhere you go.  Wesley took care of everything and we never had to stress about anything. He really is a pro at this travel thing.  Again we enjoyed the fresh water pool everyday. Home cooked meals. Great conversations and explanations about the environment.  The next excursion was to the 7 Falls. There are 7 waterfalls you can view through a series of trails. 3 of which require you to take a massive zipline far above the canopy of the forest below.  Not only do you get an unobstructed view of the water falls on two consecutive ziplines, you can also see the river below.  The Zipline is stable enough to hold your phone while you do it.  Bring an android! They will download your pictures straight to your phone there.  The girls were able to go together and the pictures were well worth the 200 pesos! 😀 Whew... So much to write. We also went to a couple amazing restaurants where Wesley has a personal relationship with the owner/chef.  We went to the mall and watched a fashion show. We played with the monkeys, goats, and dogs.  We swam more. Ate more. Drank a bit at the Monkey Bar. Toured a wood working area where the furniture is made. We bought a piece that Wesley will get shipped home to us.  And we crashed and landed into our beds...  What else can I write... This was a life changing experience and we are already looking forward to returning again.  Thank you Sir Wesley and Marrissa for your service! Impeccable.

Bonita's Place Camella Koronadal

Throughout our stay at Bonita's (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), from the moment I booked, they were incredibly responsive. They checked in (Ms. Yvon Kris and Ma'am Bella, Zea Mae and partner), which made our arrival easier. Zea Mae and Partner made sure we had everything we needed (an electric fan for the room without an Air-conditioning unit). You just politely ask what you need and Zea Mae and partner make you feel welcome and cared for. They offered recommendations (tricycles and vans as service vehicles) and food delivery services apps.
A homey living room is displayed, featuring dark wooden benches and a low table. Soft pink cushions are placed on the benches. The walls are adorned with two decorative mirrors and abstract art. A window is dressed with light, patterned curtains.

Sunrise view hut overlooking the river & farm #1

We had a relaxing stay at Marissa & Wesley’s Coconut Farm. We appreciated their warm hospitality and instantly felt very welcome upon having them pick us up at the airport. This is definitely a great place to disconnect from city life, and get back to the roots of nature. Their staff are all very friendly and accommodating to whatever you need or would like. We had the pleasure to taste some of their farm cooked meals for breakfast/dinner, which were very delicious! While we stayed here we had Wesley and Marissa guide us with a lovely local hike with lunch cooked on an open fire, zip lined the highest Southeast Asian zip line at Lake Sebu-Seven Falls , and did enjoyed some local shopping near by. So whether you’re an avid outdoor enthusiast or just starting out exploring more of the outdoors, THIS is the place to experience it!
A charming entrance is framed by lush greenery, featuring a stone archway and a cream-colored facade with terracotta roofing. The welcoming structure includes large windows and a small balcony, set against a backdrop of clear blue skies and a well-maintained pathway leading into the property.
