In the surrounding area you can hike, climb, relax at the swimming lake, visit cities such as Bamberg, Bad Staffelstein, Coburg, Kronach, Bayreuth and Kulmbach. It is also wonderful to simply enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden or on the terrace and to watch chickens, running ducks or sometimes sheep.

Smoking is not allowed in the whole house, but is allowed on the balcony at any time.
