With us, you can experience unspoiled nature, numerous hiking trails, and many attractions, all with the added benefit of being within a 10-minute drive of Bamberg.

Half-timbered house Benefit - Garden and terrace

The more than 100-year-old half-timbered house was lovingly renovated in 2017 and is now looking forward to welcoming its guests. It can accommodate two people. In front of the house, there is a terrace and garden. Flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and radio provide entertainment. The bathroom has a floor-level shower, sink and toilet. In addition to a kettle, coffee maker & fridge, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Located not far from the city of Bamberg, on the edge of Franconian Switzerland.

Children free of charge (see other relevant information). Living on a former agricultural estate. Very rural and quiet. The apartment is completely barrier-free and equipped with an elevator. In the surrounding area you can hike, climb, relax at the swimming lake, visit cities such as Bamberg, Bad Staffelstein, Coburg, Kronach, Bayreuth and Kulmbach. It is also wonderful to simply enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden or on the terrace and to watch chickens, running ducks or sometimes sheep.

Geisfeld is only 10 minutes from Bamberg - the beer city with the famous Rauchbier (Schlenkerla). The old town in the sand area offers beautiful rustic pubs and Little Venice. Franconian Switzerland offers more than 4,500 km of hiking trails through graceful valleys and rocky landscapes. Some caves guarantee an experience for the whole family with their fascinating underworld.

Here you will find not only a charming accommodation, but also the perfect starting point for hiking, biking or simply relaxing days in nature. In addition to its historic old town, Scheßlitz also offers you all the necessities of daily life. In a few minutes you can reach Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage City with a unique flair. We look forward to seeing you!

We lovingly restored our old farmhouse in 2016. The indoor climate is pleasant because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small place with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet. Children will also get their money's worth. Telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi are available, making our accommodation also ideal for home office with family. The nearest shopping is 4 km away.

Our lovingly prepared 80 m² apartment along the Brewery Trail is a place to slow down, breathe, and feel at home after a day outdoors. Whether meeting friends or traveling for work, we look forward to hosting you.

The accommodation is very spacious and is in a quiet location surrounded by chickens, sheep, horses, llamas and alpacas. Ideal for hiking and cycling, separate entrance, private terrace, no stairs, parking or carport, cozy small wellness area, highway accessible in 7 km, leisure activities nearby. Fun park, swimming pool, restaurants and shopping are just a few minutes away by car. A charging station for electric cars is also available.

The new holiday apartment is located in Oberngrub, the gateway to Franconian Switzerland. In the attic of a detached house, there are 3 rooms for a maximum of 5 people. The quiet area is ideally suited as a starting point. Free parking is available right in front of the house. A covered parking space for bicycles is also available. No pets allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the whole house, but is allowed on the balcony at any time.

The apartment has two separate bedrooms, a large living room, a built-in kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, bathroom and is fully furnished at 110 square meters.
