Villa vacation rentals in Komiža

We just had the most wonderful time in Hvar and in Vesnas apartment! Vesnas husband picked us up at the harbour and brought us to the house, which is really only 3-5min from the city centre. There we were greeted by Vesna and she showed us our apartment for the next week. The apartment is perfect for two and has everything one needs. The small kitchen is absolutely sufficient to cook your own meals and spare some money, since the restaurants in Hvar are pretty expensive, comparing to the rest of croatia. I loved the balcony with sea view and theres even a big terrace one can use. But because of the view to the sea and the monastery we always sat at the balcony ;). I really appreciated the big bathroom, I never had such a high standard bathroom in croatia or the balkans before. The whole place was spotless clean. Only 2min from Vesnas house is a small beach, but I recommend to walk some minutes more in direction to Milna for better swimming possibilities - or take the Bus to Milna or Dubovica or of course Taxi boat to the pakleni islands (mlini beach was my favourite). Hvar in high season really is a party town. Since there is so much to do and see we never had problems to avoid the teenage party crowd but be aware that it can get noisy in the night, if you like to sleep with open windows and have a light sleep ;) Communication with Vesna was always very easy, she's so nice and we and provided us with a lot of recommandations concerning where to go and where to eat, that was very helpful. I really fell in love with the island and the apartment and if I ever come again, i would choose her apartment anytime again.

Vesna and her family were lovely people. The apartment is in a great location close to all the action but far enough for peace and quiet. Hope to return one day.

Maison idéalement située à 100 m d'une très jolie baie, très peu fréquentée. Vis est à moins de 10 minutes si vous avez des courses à faire ou si vous vouliez vous replonger dans la foule ! La maison est simple, mais comporte tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour agréable. Vue superbe de la terrasse. Une ambiance du bout du monde, on a adoré, merci !

Perfect Location for a Holiday in Hvar!! Location ist mit direct in the Center but via Car your are Hvar Town in 5 min. The days in the Apartment were better then expected, and WE had high expectations. The rooms and also the entire House was so nice and clean. One of the best thing we will never forget was the perfect sundown view from our balkony. The beach directly in front of the House was also great!!! To sum it up, we had a great time in the Apartment!! Just a place to be and to visit!!

I had the great fortune of staying in Vesna's Sunny Pearl appartement. The appartement is one of many in her truly amazing house. The room is spacious with all det amenities you will need, and a lovely porch with great view over - what i believe to be - the east side of the harbor and the Franciscan Monastery. The area is quiet and calm. Vesna is a great host and always makes sure that you have everything you need. Her family is kind and welcoming. When I come back, this will be my first choice of accommodation.

Our family had an incredible week at Rune’s place in Vis. The spacious home is very well located, just a minute walk from the main waterfront in Vis town. Great amenities, including a fantastic terrace where we enjoyed our meals and looking out at the harbor. We also loved cooking in the brick oven and retreating inside to the air conditioned living room during the hottest hours of the day. Rune and Ida were great hosts and very responsive. Highly recommended. One note if coming by car is that Vis is a historic hillside town with charming old streets that are only for pedestrians/bikes, so you will have to coordinate your luggage and people drop-offs/pickups as the public parking is a little ways off. Don’t trust Google/Apple maps as they might send you down a small street that could become very tricky to navigate. That said, we loved exploring the whole island and all of the amazing beaches.

Great house for a group. Our group of six were very happy with it: Everything was clean, we had spacious rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Cherry on top was the beautiful garden with BBQ facilities. Last but not least, Ivan is a great host, best we’ve ever had in our travels!

We originally planned to stay on Vis for 3 nights. Luckily no one was checking in immediately after us so we were able to extend another night!!! Anna's home is gorgeous...clean, simple, full of all conveniences such as beach towels, lovely shower products, iron, washer and dryer, full kitchen, snorkeling masks, etc. We especially loved the roof top deck with gorgeous sunset views each night! After exploring the island, staying in Kut was our preferred spot! It's walkable with plenty of restaurant options. Communication was seamless and we loved all of the recommendations! Vis is a special place...we will definitely be back. Highly highly recommend this home if you are planning a trip!

Beautiful villa in a great location! I spent a night there with a bachelor party group and it was perfect for us. Plenty rooms for everyone to sleep comfortably, easy walk to all restaurants and nearby beaches, and great communication for check in!

Stunning villa for a large group, less than a 10 minute walk from Hvar town centre. Very clean, decorated to a high spec throughout and lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the island

Notre séjour s’est parfaitement déroulé. La maison est extrêmement bien placée, du côté de Kut, juste assez proche du village et de ses commodités, juste assez éloignée des nuisances sonores. La mer devant la maison est très belle pour s’y baigner , comme presque partout à Vis. Mario et ses collègues sont adorables, très à l’écoute et réactifs à toute demande. Merci, nous reviendrons.

Nydelig øy, fantastisk fint og rolig i Kut. Huset er veldig fint, praktisk og har høy standard. 3 fine bad, 4 behagelige, svale og lyse soverom. Hems med ekstra soveplasser. Klimaanlegg i alle soverom, på hemsen og i stua. Stor varmtvannstank, vi gikk aldri tom for varmvann. Fin uteplass med langbord og grill. Takterrasse i tilknytning til det ene soverommet. Vi var 10 personer, og huset var perfekt for oss. Både de under 12 og de over 70 var fornøyd med huset. Hyggelig og hjelpsom vert. Svarte alltid raskt på henvendelser. Vil absolutt vurdere å leie dette stedet igjen!!

Stayed there for my wedding weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The patio is private and beautiful, and the place was more spacious than we had anticipated. The woman who helped us check in was always available to answer all our questions and helped us with recommendations. 10/10 would stay there again every time I visit Vis.

Perfect host! Knowledgable and a fantastic guide - we used most of Sime’s recommendations and guides throughout our stay (and got discounts because everybody knows him)! Hvar is just beautiful - we found the most amazing cove to swim which we found using Sime’s local knowledge - and great for cliff jumping and diving :). Try the local dish of peka too! A great base, close the town with plenty of restaurants and shops within 5 mins from the apartments (possibly 10 mins on the way back up)!

Sanja has our highest recommendation. This was not just a stay, but a whole experience we will never forget. She made our week totally unique & unforgettable. We are so grateful! If you are looking for an immersive, local experience, you can't get better than this. Sanja picked us up at the ferry and was available to drive us anywhere (we had no car). The house is partially renovated - kitchen is gorgeous, and the bedrooms / baths are an older style. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Kids loved the pool. Located on a hill, it's a 4 min walk down to the most beautiful, uncrowded peaceful rock beach, with crystal clear blue water. It's a 10-15 min walk down to a bigger beach with a restaurant. Small market is ~20-min walk. However, the best part is Sanja and her husband. She cooked us two amazing, local meals, and even taught a cooking class for my kids! Srdjan is a fisherman and took us out on his boat to see the incredible coastline, incl Stiniva. Magical. 100 stars!

Tomislav et son épouse sont des hôtes très accueillants et très attentionnés. Jus dans le frigo, savons et carte avec recommandations d activités ont été très appréciés. Le logement est très propre , la piscine impeccable et très agréable. Sans parler de la vue qui est magnifique ! Petit plus l emplacement est parfait puisqu à 10mn à pieds se trouvent d excellents restaurants, boutiques et accès à la mer. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

Really great place to stay with our two, Uni aged sons. Great outside space and lots of indoor living space with everything you needed in the kitchen. The old town of Vis is absolutely beautiful and there’s so many great places to eat at within walking distance. We hired a car and electric bikes so exploring the island was easy. This was our fourth visit to Vis Island, and this area was our favourite so far.

Amazing house in the most beautiful authentic part of Vis! House is spacious, nice interior design, large rooms, very well equipped and thought through! Pool area is beautiful and relaxing! Owners are lovely and very friendly, we had great communication. Everything was clear and easy to follow. We absolutely loved our stay and will be coming back! Thank you Jan!

We loved our stay in Hvar. The house was in the most perfect location, spotlessly clean and tidy, beautiful interiors and comfortable beds! The pool was perfect for a dip after a hard day at the beach club. Highly recommend and would love to one day visit this wonderful Island sanctuary again.

Perfect villa that was spotless. Comfortable beds, everything we needed including information regarding their travel cot and highchair prior to arrival. Collection from the port arranged. Great communication by the host. We did have a baby with us and the driveway was very steep! There were also 10-15 steps down into the villa so maybe we would have paid extra to be in one of the bottom villas if we’d known. I struggled to push the pushchair down the hill without the help of my husband (or a random person walking by). But apart from that it was a very short walk downhill into Kut town which had lovely restaurants. Our friends staying in Vis would probably stay in Kut next time. Great villa!

Underbart hus med perfekt läge nära butiker och bageri. Lugnt område och fräscht hus med allt man kan önska. Lea var en superbra värd!

Villa Roca was a beautiful place to stay for our group. We came to Vis for a friend’s wedding and it is by far the most beautiful place on the island! Being able to swim between the pool and the ocean was lovely. We all felt super relaxed and as though we didn’t want to leave. There are some lovely beaches nearby but a car is essential to get to nearby restaurants and supermarket. Vis town is about a 15 min drive. This was no problem for us as we barely wanted to leave! A taxi to town was about €25 one way. The villa has staff onsite who live in an apartment just above the home. They are friendly and around to help with any issues during stay.
