The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the living room. Several great activities right from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski loop passes by, and in summer, the mountain biking route (Kouvervaara loop). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, with one semi-detached cottage and one cottage consisting of three apartments in the same yard.

Kuusela is a neat and quiet holiday home in Kuusamo, in the village of Käylä. The ski trail and the sled trail (200m) can be reached directly from the yard. Shop 1 km, Oulanka and Kitkajoki fishing destinations nearby, Kiutaköngäs 14 km, Ruka 18 km. Riisitunturi 38 km. Kuusamo 42 km. NOTE! Sheets and towels are not included in the price. The resident cleans when leaving, supplies and equipment can be found. Indoor dogs are allowed and must be notified in advance! In the yard there is a dog yard and a running wire.

The beach is also very suitable for children to swim. Good recreational opportunities in the area, skiing, snowshoeing, winter fishing and snowmobiling in winter (transfer route to the official snowmobile route). Good fishing opportunities, located in the Muojärvi-Kuusamojärvi water area, water connection to the center of Kuusamo and the eastern border.

The apartment is very clean and there are no personal belongings in the apartment!

Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. The beach sauna is at your disposal and we will advise you on how to heat it. WiFi available. The price includes linens and towels for three.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
