The large and bright flat is located on the third and fourth floors. If you want to experience the city up close, the flat on Spalenberg is ideally located. It is a 2-minute walk to the market square and another 2 minutes to the Rhine. If you want to go to the cinema or theatre in the evening, everything is within walking distance. It was a fantastic stay, the apartment is very central & well connected, but at the same time very relaxing and tranquil. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The coffee was great and I really enjoyed being able to sit and enjoy it in the morning on the terrace. Of course, Thomas was a very pleasant and respectful host. I’m only coming back to Basel if I can stay here!

The apartment is very calm and cozy. Internet is super fast. The area has good restaurants and tram stops are at 1 min walk. Great for a couple or for a solo work trip. Guy was super friendly and responded to all my questions. I recommend it 100%!

Charming little room in the heart of Basel

easy to get in and find. I would recommend. Good location near to river. You are on the ground floor looking onto the street so I found it best to keep the curtains and window shut for privacy. Bathroom looks new. Bed was comfortable. Only thing missing would have been a mini fridge as it was over 30degrees when I stayed but I expect usually not a problem. I had an issue leaving luggage in corridor by bikes on day of checkout as other guest had key to a middle door which I hadn't realised could be locked. Hopefully this can be changed for future or studio guests should leave luggage in front of this door. Hosts were prompt to respond and rang girl staying in the other room so she came back to unlock door and everything was fine.

It's a huge, comfortable room with plenty of space. Comfortable bed, work table, sofa, dining table and you still have plenty of room to move around. The bathroom is huge and perfect, door to door with the bedroom. Everything is next to the entrance of the house, which gives a lot of privacy, both to Thomas and to the tenants. I thought it was a great place to visit Basel. Very good location, very quiet, with lots of light... we spent a week there and felt at home.

Fantastic, comfortable, spotlessly accommodation in a beautiful location. We chose to stay here to be in a quieter, more picturesque part of town and we were not disappointed. Communication was excellent and Katharina was super helpful and considerate. We would definitely stay again.
