It was a great experience to stay in a tree house. It was my first time and I am not gonna get over this beautiful feeling of staying here anytime soon. There is calm river flowing right in front of the tree house. There is a beautiful farm where you can take a stroll and explore the various vegetation the family is taking care of. Mahima helped me set up a beautiful candle light dinner which definitely helped me to have one of the most beautiful experiences so far. Highly recommended. Please go and enjoy the hospitality.

Manu’s place is a lovely escape from the city! We found it extremely green, charming and well maintained. The host Albin was extremely responsive and accommodating, and even shared a few recommendations for sightseeing with us. Manu’s parents were also very warm and welcoming, and the breakfasts prepared by aunty were delicious. I would love to revisit. Go for it without a second thought!

It was an amazing place surrounded by jungle and nature. The food was amazing as well, the pork is must try!

The drive to this place is adventurous. The host and the caretaker are very prompt in informing the location and the way to reach it from Madikeri. The ascent from Madikeri is not very risky. It will actually be good because of the bitumen road all the way till the property. The highlight of the stay will be Mr. Sunil the caretaker. He speaks english and hindi fluently. He put all efforts to make us feel at home. If you are planning to reach this place from talakaveri then you are in for a slight offroading experience. It was very good. But plan your travel before dawn, else it will be a bit scary. The only couple drawbacks i found were that the room i stayed (no.3) was not very clean. It had some stains on the wall. additionally, the hot water was a problem as well. In the early morning when the weather was very cold, we only received luke warm water which was not sufficiently hot.

The property itself has a beautiful rustic charm, perfectly blending into its surroundings of gorgeous plantations. The host was absolutely wonderful and genuinely passionate about making sure guests feel at home. Their team was also incredibly helpful, always around with a smile if we needed anything, but never intrusive either. And then there were the dogs and cats! The cats are pretty chilled out. If you love dogs, then you’ll be glad to know that they’ll accompany you for your walks through the plantations. If you are scared of dogs, please note that these guys are super gentle and they know to keep their distance in case they sense that we aren’t super playful with them. One small thing to keep in mind is that food needs to be ordered well in advance. But honestly, it’s a small ask considering that they source everything fresh from local businesses. And the quality of the food speaks for itself. We were looking for a peaceful place to spend a few days and Raho was absolutely it.

It was a dream like Homestay. Special mention to the yummy breakfast Appam n stew. Would highly recommend this Homestay if you are looking for a good experience like holiday in Waynad. We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was just perfect — the setting, the view, and especially the pool, which was definitely the highlight for us. Roy, the caretaker, was wonderful and did everything we asked for. Though we had a bit of a language barrier since he speaks only Malayalam, Google Translate came to the rescue and it all worked out smoothly. A beautiful stay in a beautiful place — would definitely recommend!

Very proactive host and the food was good, the cottage was cozy and peaceful and he look after us well with his help. Worth what we paid and I recommend this place anyone who is looking for a little getaway.
