Located in a coffee estate and around 15 minutes from Madikeri town centre. The location is indeed true to its name, serene. The view from the residence is excellent. You can also stroll around in the property (which is basically a part of a hill), along the paved way, cutting across coffee and other trees. The dining area also offers a nice view. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Thank you.

We girls booked this Airbnb for four days. It was one of the best decisions ever. We were catching up many years after college and wanted to spend time together before we all leave to different places again. Sharath, aunty and uncle made it even more memorable. Simply put- they are kind, considerate, accommodating and caring people. Sanju and ninja doggos are add ons. They bring more peace and joy. I look forward to meeting them all again. Thanks 4C

We had a lovely stay at the property. The house was spacious and comfortable. Our favorite spot was the front veranda, where we spent hours playing games and enjoying the beautiful view. The walk through the plantation was peaceful and refreshing. We also had a great time playing with the three friendly dogs – Oreo, Brownie, and Toppy. The home-cooked food by Chitra was a real treat – we especially enjoyed the crispy dosas and the jackfruit idli! Jagdeesh was very kind and helped us with recommendations for local food spots and touristy places. All in all, we had a great time here! Would definitely recommend this place to all fellow travellers!

First about the host: Mr. Thimmaiah was extremely helpful and friendly. He gave us precise recommendations about places that are must visit in coorg. On a personal note, he's very hard working and a thorough professional. We enjoyed our conversations with him. His communication is top notch. The property: It is a private coffee plantation owned by the family and the stay is in the middle of it. It was neat and clean, had all the basic amenities and the view was great. there's a big garden and stream behind the property and the host took us through it and explained about each and every plant. He's got immense knowledge in farming and we learnt much from him. The food: We had breakfast and dinner here on both days of our stay. The family offered us home cooked food with lot of veggies and it was simply delicious. We whole heartedly recommend this place to other families looking for a peaceful stay in coorg. It was a wonderful experience staying at this place. The location is amazing with multiple waterfalls and misty mountain views, a place far away from the busy city life. We need a 4x4 to reach this place, which was taken care by the host. Food was delicious. Mathew is a great host. Would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent place with spacious bedrooms and living areas. It was immaculate and well equipped with all amenities. The cottage had great interiors and lightings which made the place even more welcoming. The landscape around the cottage was beautiful with lots of places to go for short walks in the morning. There were well-covered outdoors seating as well which were ideal for board games and just chilling during the day. The best part of the stay was the food and the hospitality of the caretaker. All the meals were delicious, hygienic and served on time with good portions. Nikhil and his wife were excellent hosts. Their great communication helped us find the place easily and made our stay go smooth without any difficulties. He even drove down to meet us!

Staying at this Airbnb was a fantastic experience for us. It was by far one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had so far because of the service provided. Instead of being just an Airbnb, Nischitha and Deepak became friends. It felt like they truly cared about us and our stay. Welcome to Eorthe was extremely clean and well maintained. Enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to the birds and eleplants early in the morning was such a peaceful experience. Also, Nischitha is a master chef. All her dishes were authentic and delicious, but her tender coconut pudding was the best dessert we have ever tasted!! If you are thinking of booking this accommodation, don't think twice.

The resort is situated in the woods alongside a river. The view and the ambience of the place is mesmerizing. Well maintained and great service. The food was delicious and served fresh !! Thanks again for being a fantastic host !!

The place is surrounded by tall trees and greenery all around that it provides full isolation from the outside world. It has 5 spacious rooms and and attic bedroom. The balconies are big and provide ample space for folks who love outdoor seating. It is easily accessible by road . Host Ajith was very courteous and provided us with all help during our stay there. Overall the place is an amazing option for folks looking for a weekend hideout in wayanad

My stay in the Attic was a surreal experience, the Dilip n Mahima were friendly, special thanks to Alvin and Hari who made sure I was well taken care of . Very clean and peaceful stay. It was a dream like Homestay. Special mention to the yummy breakfast Appam n stew. Would highly recommend this Homestay if you are looking for a good experience like holiday in Waynad. From the moment we arrived, Puttu, the manager, made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. He is truly one of the most helpful and attentive hosts I have ever met. No matter the time or request, Puttu was always available, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The home-cooked food was absolutely delicious — authentic Coorg flavors that left us wanting more. What’s even better is that you can order anything you crave, and Puttu and his team will prepare it for you with love and care. The meals felt like a warm hug, and we appreciated the personalized touch. The serene surroundings and cozy ambiance made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We had a great time here. Resort is beautiful and offers plenty of activities for the kids. They have Indian and Italian restaurants offering plenty of options for kids. The staff is friendly.

Had a wonderful stay at this property nestled in the heart of a coffee plantation—perfect for nature lovers. We visited during the monsoon, and the lush greenery made the experience even more magical. The atmosphere was serene, with only the soothing sounds of nature around. Sachin was incredibly responsive and always ready to help, and the caretakers were attentive and available around the clock. Truly grateful for the hospitality. Highly recommended!

Beautiful lush green place with big Coorgi rooms and a functional kitchen made our stay quite pleasant. The property has paved tracks to walk and many fruiting, flowering trees and a nice pond. We really appreciated the nice long walk with the host who graciously explained us about the history of the place and the plants in and around the place and gave us some of the freshly plucked fruits from the trees. The caretaker was very helpful and attended to all our needs. We were served a good spread of nice home cooked food, which we really enjoyed. Overall, it's a good place to be to detox with warm hosts and a lush green farm stay.

Great Great Location!!!! We stayed for 5 days and what a great time we had!! Our dog was free on the whole property running around everywhere. Beautiful scenery and rains were just magical!! Only problem was Leeches as our dog constantly was getting bitten. But overall such a wonderful place. Roshin, the caretaker took such good care of us. 3 hours everyday to get food and make delicious flavours come out of that kitchen! We will DEFINITELY visit again.

A wonderful place to stay with friends and family. The hospitality was excellent, and everyone was very cooperative. Mr. Ramesh took great care of us and made sure all our needs were met. Perfect place for bachelors to hangout and for people who are traveling to visit the nagarhole tiger reserve. it's a 5 min off road drive to reach the place from the main road. The caretaker knows the surroundings well. It has a decent pool for 5 people to chill around.

We were a large family group with 3 teenagers and 1 child and stayed for one night only in the Bamboo Cottage. The property and facilities were exactly as advertised in the site. We really enjoyed the games amenities like the full sized badminton court, table tennis, carom board, darts etc. The property was safe and large enough for the child to play and run around. We had dinner and breakfast there. The traditional Kerala home cooked food was really well made and well served without any unnecessary fuss. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable and tastefully furnished. The garden is very well kept and has interesting varieties of local plants. One pleasant surprise was that the dormitory style bedroom downstairs, which can sleep 6 persons, had 3 separate bath and toilets attached to it. The hosts are polite and welcoming and quietly efficient without being intrusive. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Excellent place to unwind yourselves with lush green coffee estates all around. The place itself is aesthetically done. Four smart and friendly dogs are always there to guide you. Nachi cooks some nice wood fired pizzas as well.

I recently enjoyed staying at Aiyappa Stays, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep every night. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They provided invaluable local tips and recommendations, making exploring the area much easier and enjoyable.

A lovely quaint bungalow nestled in the heart of the forest. Perfect for big group getaways and ideal for a long ride. The place has ten bunkers beds and a ton of space on the 1st floor and is clean and well kept. Two nice boys who you'd barely see cook some hot authentic Mallu food and take care there is nothing left to want with some good fish and chicken served piping hot. They even arranged extra meat for us on request at a very minimal cost. We were 14 of us and Doctor gladly gave us the ground floor too so we would be more comfortable and refused to charge us extra even when we asked him a couple of times if we need to pay extra and that thoughtfulness is a rarity nowadays where everyone looks for a bargain. This was a truly wonderful stay for me. Lakshman and his wife are incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly - they went above and beyond on numerous occasions to ensure I had a nice day. A special mention to the local Coorgi food that was prepared for me - so tasty and a great chance to sample local cuisine. Finally, the property itself is lovely - it’s housed on Lakshman’s coffee estate, in peaceful surroundings and near to Nagarhole. There’s also three sweet dogs to play with during your stay - would highly recommend! :)

We were a family of 8 looking for a weekend getaway, and the moment we saw the listing for this place, we were all instantly convinced. The biggest reason — it was a Tharavad. All our ancestral Tharavads had either been demolished or sold by the previous generations, so the idea of staying in one again truly excited us. When we reached, we realized the property was even more beautiful than what we saw in the pictures. If you’re looking for luxury, fancy amenities, or the facilities of a resort or hotel — this may not be for you. But if you’re after an experience — a private, quiet, clean, and nostalgic stay that reminds you of old Kerala homes, this is perfect. We had an amazing time here and would definitely love to come back. If there’s one small suggestion I could make — I wish there were more traditional Kerala dishes available, like beef fry, appam, etc. But that wasn't a dealbreaker, as there were restaurants nearby where we could pick up what we wanted.

The drive to this place is adventurous. The host and the caretaker are very prompt in informing the location and the way to reach it from Madikeri. The ascent from Madikeri is not very risky. It will actually be good because of the bitumen road all the way till the property. The highlight of the stay will be Mr. Sunil the caretaker. He speaks english and hindi fluently. He put all efforts to make us feel at home. If you are planning to reach this place from talakaveri then you are in for a slight offroading experience. It was very good. But plan your travel before dawn, else it will be a bit scary. The only couple drawbacks i found were that the room i stayed (no.3) was not very clean. It had some stains on the wall. additionally, the hot water was a problem as well. In the early morning when the weather was very cold, we only received luke warm water which was not sufficiently hot.
