Right on the beach there is an associated wood fire sauna with jetty and rowing boat. (Fishing license required) Directly adjacent to the cabin there are lovely forest walks with access to berries and mushrooms in season. If you like running, there are plenty of trails and roads. Road with few cars also provides opportunity for both roller skis and cycling.

Right in between “Astrid Lindgren's world” and “High Chaparral” this house is in a smaller community.(About 10 km to both) Here is a shop and a well traveled German restaurant, "Lieblingsplatz". Nice hiking areas and lakes. Boat and fishing licenses can be arranged to an extra cost. Winter time: slalom slope with a lift in Sävsjö. (2.5 miles) There is a dining chair, children.
