Vacation rentals with a patio in Kitty Hawk

5-star all the way! This review could be pages long on all the great things to say about the Sit N' Duck. Both Mary and Larry are kind, friendly, and gracious hosts. We especially liked the very short walk to the ocean, the use of the Blackstone grill, the kitchenette with coffee maker, electric skillet, and refrigerator; the fluffy towels, the outdoor sitting areas, the comfortable bed, and hospitality...great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Mary and Larry gave us complete privacy, but were available when needed. It was fun to share a few stories as we headed out to the beach. Other great features: parking availability, beach chairs and umbrella, small cooler (we used a lot), kitchen supplies, and absolutely squeaky-clean everything! Mary has thought of all the little details to make a perfect stay. Thank you so much Mary and Larry, can't wait to come back!

Been coming to OBX for 15 years. One of the very best AIRBNBs we have stayed at. Better than I expected and what pictures can capture. Tastefully decorated, comfy couch and the beds were perfect. Immaculate, every inch. Nice having bedrooms on opposite ends. Huge tv!! Tons of towels, kitchen looked great but we ate out so can’t comment on amenities there. Great deck overlooking the (sometimes frustrated!) golfers putting their hole. Elevator was appreciated with luggage and 93 year old Father in law. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at this place! Very accurate description and faithful to the pictures. Kitchen and bathroom in pristine conditions, clean linens and lots of gadgets to bring to the beach. Those bikes and the V shaped scooter was plus! I highly recommend it!

Tara’s place worked perfectly for our family (two adults, two young kids) and honestly restored my faith in AirBnBs. You can tell she really puts effort into making it an awesome place. It was kid friendly - spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated without being fussy. The appliances are all brand new, the bed and linens are super comfortable, there’s great water pressure in the shower, the kitchen is well stocked, and the washer/dryer was so helpful. It’s super centrally located with a ton to do in the area, and it’s easily walkable to the beach. (Though there’s no real ocean view, if that’s your thing.) It was our first time in the Outer Banks and we’d probably choose a quieter town in the future but if we were to come back to KDH rebooking here would be top of our list.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made our trip so relaxing and convenient. The home was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival so much smoother. What really stood out were the thoughtful amenities—not just for us, but for our pup, Bentley, too! It’s clear they truly care about all their guests, both human and furry. Bentley felt right at home, and so did we. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a beach getaway with great accommodations and pet-friendly touches. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our time! The location is beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was extremely comfortable and had a great kitchen! We loved being able to walk to the dock in the mornings and evenings. It was easy to get just about anywhere in OBX. The furniture was all very comfortable as well. Shannon was extremely prompt to respond when we had any question!

They were extremely considerate of us having a toddler. They provided us with sensitive baby laundry detergent, outlet covers, a high chair, and playpen. We had an amazing relaxing vacation thanks to having a perfect stay.

Lots of space, clean, and beautiful. There were discounts for a number of local businesses, and the location was perfect for beach access. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Our stay at Skye’s the limit was amazing. The cottage was newly renovated and everything was in great condition and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the room with the bunk bed. The location was great and close to the beach with lots to do around.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy and modern beach house. The ocean view from the deck was beautiful. The place was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for our group of four. Just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants. The host was responsive and check-in was easy. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Stayed here for the second year in a row. Last time we tried to do the tourist things. This year our goal was spend time on the beach. If you want time on the beach you'll be hard pressed to find a closer spot. Walk out the door and you are on the beach. The house has plenty of space for our family of 5. Honestly can say we will come back again if the opportunity arises.

Whitney was a great host, very proactive, had clear instructions on checking in and responsive. This is a great location, the pool was perfect and had plenty of chairs. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us. We enjoyed our stay!!

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

This was an ideal location in Duck, NC. The beach associated with the resort was devine! The surrounding area is mostly single family homes, making the beach very private to the resort. The unit is located away from the pool, so it was very quiet and lovely. The view is not really of water, but it's a great deck to watch sunsets. I would return to this AirBnB again!

Great location within steps to the beautiful Outer Banks beaches. Steve's place is comfortable, stylishly decorated, and so close to the ocean that you can fall asleep to the waves crashing upon the beach at night!

Natalie was an amazing host! Their condo was perfect for a quick get away. They had lots of good recommendations for restaurants near by! It was a great place for our family’s first experience at OBX! Definitely will look for this condo if we’re to come back to OBX!

Emily maintained an open line of communication from before checkin through the day of checkout. She even messaged us to ensure everything was perfect during the stay. Her home is clean and organized, and smelled amazing (love the Pura diffusers!) The amenities are exactly as described. Her home is in a quiet cul-de-sac and within walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. She even gives you personalized recommendations of places to eat and things to do. I would highly recommend her place for your next vacation!!

Absolutely wonderful condo in Manteo! The space was clean, super comfortable and the location was perfect. Looks exactly as the pictures show, but with an even better view of the water from the patio. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We went to see The Lost Colony at Fort Raleigh and was able to walk via an easy walking path right outside of the condo. We will 100% stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
