Monthly Rentals in Kirkharle

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. We had a great stay. On arrival the lodge smelt lovely and clean and couldn’t tell it had been thoroughly cleaned. There was a small park at the lodge and then another just a 2 minute walk for our kids. The lodge was in the middle of no where over looking a lovely lake with the most stunning sunsets as we sat on the decking. It’s a lovely spacious lodge ideal for groups of adults or families with children. We had a small issue of the hearing not working as we arrived, but Jess came straight from work and sorted the time on the boiler so it was promptly sorted. The bed to us was slightly hard, but that’s my only criticism, other than that it was perfect for what we wanted and would definitely go back.

An absolutely beautiful accommodation, comfortable & large in a glorious setting. Zoe is so friendly, unassuming & helpful. Encouraged us to wander around her lovely garden, the very old courtyard & surroundings. Her dogs & cats add to the pleasant home stay atmosphere. The breakfast supplies, tea & coffee were very generous. Zoe booked us into a nearby pub for dinner which was a good idea as they can be very busy. There are a number of things to see in nearby towns. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer & will definitely return to Zoe’s if we ever get back to the UK.

Staying in the cottage for a week has been nothing short of pure joy. The comfort, tranquility, and beautiful setting made it a perfect retreat. Exploring Northumberland has been a wonderful discovery — such a variety of places to visit in a diverse and stunning landscape, all easily accessible from the cottage. Traveling in our EV was hassle-free too, with charging points available at several National Trust properties and even options in more remote areas. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality — we’ve loved every moment.
