This charming cottage resides approximately 11 miles west of Portree 1 mile before the village of Edinbane. Minchview as the cottage is named ,sits overlooking the Loch and on a good day the island of Harris can be seen along with stunning views towards the bay at Edinbane. This cottage has been a family home for over 140 years and has just had some recent refurbishment whilst trying to retain the authentic character of a typical Skye cottage of this generation. All guests are welcomed warmly.

A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. A second small bathroom with shower can also be found within the property.
