Het leefgedeelte met open keuken is ruimtelijk en gezellig, wanden afgewerkt met steigerhout. Een 2 pers boxspring en een comfortabele(slaapbank). Eigen parkeergelegenheid en een schuur voor de fietsen.

We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

De oude stad Dordrecht is bereikbaar met de auto binnen 10 minuten, en met 20 minuten ben je in Rotterdam. Sinds kort is er ook een 8-persoons sloep te huur als aanvulling. Dit is de ideale locatie voor een geweldig familieweekend en niet geschikt voor groepen onder de 25 jaar.

Welkom op ‘de Hoogt’ in Oud Alblas, een monumentale boerderij in de Alblasserwaard. U kunt op ‘de Hoogt’ overnachten in onze bed en breakfast. Op ons terrein staat ‘de Terpschuur’ die we hebben omgetoverd in een prachtig huisje, waar we zelf tijdens de verbouwing van de boerderij ruim twee jaar met veel plezier in gewoond hebben. ‘ De Terpschuur’ is een 4 persoons huisje met douche, toilet, keuken en 2 slaapkamers. 'de Hoogt' is ook een 'Rustpunt' voor fietsers en wandelaars.

Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt! Haus und Garten entsprechen genau unserem Geschmack. Der Kontakt mit der Familie war herzlich. Wir hatten ein wirklich eigenes Reich, sollten aber auch keinen Fall selbst das Geschirr abwaschen, denn wir haben ja Urlaub. Also haben wir das gebrauchte Geschirr vor den Zaun gestellt und die Heinzelmännchen haben es sofort gewaschen. Wir hatten jederzeit das Gefühl, dass wir sehr willkommen sind. Was will man mehr?

I really liked this small comfortable residence. The downstairs living accommodation is beautifully decorated in a simple Dutch style. The bathroom with shower, washing machine & dryer is downstairs. The sleeping space upstairs is simple & practical with lots of space despite effectively being in the attic . The stairs are open wooden ones & typically slightly steep which is normal in Dutch architecture! There was a lovely dedicated private space to sit outside overlooking the surrounding countryside. It was such a peaceful space with the only noise from the waterbirds! Helen & her family could not have been more welcoming, I really enjoyed my stay with them.

It was my very first time at a country side home, and it was amazing, especially Cornelia's hospitality and friendliness. A bit difficult to commute by public transport, but you can take a cab from the nearest station.
