We had a lovely stay at David’s property. Everything was spotlessly clean, the setting was peaceful and it’s right in the middle of beautiful countryside. Highly recommend as a place to switch off for a couple of a nights! Thank you so much!

Absolutely beautiful place! Great location, perfect base to explore the surrounding areas. The accommodation had everything we needed, enabling us to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner with ease. The fact there is a washing machine was an added bonus. We were going to take our dog but plans changed however, the garden is secure and there is plenty of space for them if you do take them. Instructions for the property and access were clear. Information about the surrounding amenities was useful - we tried The Jolliffe Arms which was quite nice, huge portions and near a village hall which had a play park behind which the kids loved. The beds were sheet comfy as well! Thank you for our treats on arrival - tea, coffee, sugar, milk, apple juice and biscuits. Perfect for when we just arrived after a long drive. Would recommend this place!

Emma’s home is beautiful. Everything you need and it’s pristine clean. Lovely outside terrace which is a real sun trap. Fabulous shower. Comfy bed. Black out blind in the bedroom which was a bonus for the light mornings. It was warm at night (my age) but I brought my fan with me 😃 Location is perfect for visiting surrounding Somerset. Close to Wells and Cheddar Gorge (we visited both) close to Bath (we’ve been so didn’t visit this time) Shepton Mallet (not worth a visit in my opinion) We ate at the Simply Thai restaurant about 8 min walk. Amazing food. Very reasonable. There is also a Wetherspoon which is big with a nice outside space. Probably one of the better spoons that we’ve been to and the service and food was good. We had several drinks on each night the staff very friendly. Again about 8/10 min easy walk. If there was one tiny thing and that is no little freezer at the top of the fridge to make ice! Not sure what else to say - book it you won’t be disappointed.
