Lough View

GemmaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lough View Cottage is a comfortable, cosy and well-provisioned place, with a stunning view across Carlingford Lough and within easy access of lots of great things to do and see, as well as a few great eateries. Paul and Valerie were helpful and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog with us too, as there are so many great walks in the area that she enjoyed as much as we did.
Two green chairs are positioned on a light concrete patio area, facing a scenic backdrop of grassy hills and rolling clouds. A stone wall lines one side of the space, with a storage unit and a view of lush greenery in the distance.

Butterfly Cottage

TerryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Butterfly Cottage was really lovely, very quiet, and worked very well for our needs. The Cottage was very much as described. In Florence was very kind and responsive. The parking for the cottage was excellent. The only difficulty were the roads to get to the cottage which were gravel roads and not in good condition, otherwise everything was very good.

Stunning location, Omeath

DeanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This converted barn is in a great location, just a few minutes drive from the local village (Omeath - with a great pub which is child and dog friendly!). Also well located if visiting Carlingford. The house itself has everything you need and is set in expansive gardens (perfect for our dog). Samantha & Terry are great hosts - very welcoming and we had great communication from the moment we booked. They were very accommodating for our 1.5yr old son, with highchair, travel cot and toys provided. Highly recommend their place - hope to stay again soon.

A broad expanse of green fields stretches beneath an overcast sky, framed by distant mountains. A stone wall divides the landscape, while a small building can be seen in the background, adding context to the rural setting.

The Loft @ Shemara (Greencastle, Kilkeel Co Down)

PeterRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed for three nights as a family with two children and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and gave us great local restaurant tips upon arrival. The loft is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you might need. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats – milk, butter, chips, and cookies were waiting for us. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area, and the view of the Mourne Mountains is simply stunning. Highly recommended – we would definitely come back!

Unique & Peaceful ~ Peggy's Cottage in Carlingford

Beautiful, charming cottage. So nice we didn't mind when the weather wasn't so great! Clean and comfortable, we would highly recommend.
A serene landscape showcases a calm body of water reflecting soft hues of orange and purple from the sunset. Silhouetted figures can be seen walking along the beach, while distant hills frame the horizon under a clear sky.

Had a lovely long weekend in Rostrevor. Geraldine’s second floor flat was just as described and matched what we were looking for.

Cozy House

MarianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great location in a quite cul de sac, 3 minutes walk from the bustling town centre and with a great view of the Abbey. House was spotless with the essentials provided. An outdoor garden area looking up at the towering Slieve. Deirdre is a great host. I would stay here again.
