House vacation rentals in Kill Devil Hills

We had a wonderful stay here!! The house was lovely, the location was excellent, and it was in close proximity to stores, restaurants, etc.! We especially enjoyed the easy walk to the beach and all of the thoughtful "extras" that were provided (beach cart, chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and more). The outdoor shower and hot tub were nice additions as well. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Our stay at Eric's exceeded expectations. Truly a beautiful house, spotlessly clean, well appointed. Eric was a great communicator from the time I made my reservation to the time I left the house, quickly answering all questions, giving recommendations and dealing with a small problem we had promptly. I would say that this house is one of the rare places on Airb&b that looks *better* than the pictures. Thank you so much!

They were extremely considerate of us having a toddler. They provided us with sensitive baby laundry detergent, outlet covers, a high chair, and playpen. We had an amazing relaxing vacation thanks to having a perfect stay.

Megan and Shane went above and beyond to resolve any issues we had with the stay. They were awesome hosts and the place was perfect as well. Will definitely book with them again if I’m ever in the area again!

Ryan’s was perfect for our getaway! The space looked exactly as described and depicted in the photos. Ryan was really friendly and communicative. We had plans to arrive earlier than the 2pm check in, and though traffic patterns didn’t allow for it, Ryan reached out letting us know we could get in as early as noon. Check in and check out was smooth and we were incredibly comfortable the entire time. We appreciated the little touches of snacks and the booklet that included suggestions of food and activities, as well as a breakdown on if it was casual, more upscale, and child friendly. We didn’t get to ride the bikes but were really excited at the possibility. It’s about a 20 min walk to the beach or a 5 min drive with easy access to most things. Highly recommend!

The house was in pristine condition when we showed up on Friday afternoon, plenty of linens for the beds, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the house looked exactly as advertised. The fridge was advertised as being old but it kept a substantial amount of food chilled for us throughout the trip without issue. The fact that our host had an equipment room with chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler for the beach was a fantastic perk. The hot tub was very sanitary and worked as advertised without issue. The outdoor shower was a nice touch for keeping the house clean as well. The location was excellent. ~5 minute walking distance to the beach and an exceptionally close drive to plenty of restaurants and entertainment options nearby as well. Only area of improvement is that we did have to go out and buy trash bags for the space. Our host’s informational pdf for the house was well made and helped expedite our check-in and check-out process as well! Would highly recommend!

From the time we booked the place it was stellar communication! Shane was responsive to our questions and extremely accomodating throughout the experience. Ideal location for us and when not out and about we loved relaxing out on both the front and back porch and evening in the back yard with the fire pit. Close to attractions /shopping/dining/ AND steps from the beach! We had plenty of adults to one busy toddler but with this a note there are two sets of stairs to block to keep little eyes off of this evidently 'key attraction' vs the toys we had with us! Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Jeremy's place. The house was beautiful, extremely clean, and well stocked. Our kids absolutely loved the pool, and the beach was just a short walk away. The location is great -- we were so close to everything. Jeremy was incredibly responsive and helpful. He is a wonderful host. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Brittany was an excellent host who responded as soon as possible to any inquires or requests for accommodations. The house was perfect and absolutely stunning. With having a two year old with my family, there were toys there ready to play which made it even better! The view was spectacular and the hot tub was equally amazing. We had some car trouble during when packing our car during check out which made us late for check out time unfortunately and she was very friendly and understanding. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. No complaints at all! Definitely can’t wait to stay again (when the two year old isn’t teething and going through sleep regression lol). 10/10 highly recommend!

Cozy home, close to the beach. We were sad to go. We wanted one more night. There is so much to do!

Dana and her co Host was amazing we had the best few days of vacation possible in the outer banks 100% recommend Dana’s place we will for sure be back next year and anytime we go to obx !

We had a wonderful stay… the OBX is now our favorite vacations spot! Sounds Groovy was Awesome with wonderful and responsive hosts.

Our family had a great vacation. The house was beautiful with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us!! The house is private but very close to the beach, dunes, restaurants and shops. Would definitely love to visit again!

Not long ago, my sisters and I lost our brother at the age of 63. After the funeral, we wanted to wait a year or so and reconnect in Nags Head, NC. It was a vacation spot our parents took us to back in the 70's. It was always a special place for us filled with wonderful memories. We couldn't think of a better place to go relax and reflect back on our brother. While we were searching for the right home, the Blackfin Inn stood out immediately, its photos reflected a beautiful home, plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and close proximity to fun restaurants and the beach. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to a few questions we had before booking. Once we arrived, we were not disappointed. The home was more beautiful than the photos. The host made you feel right at home. Whether it was bottles of water waiting for you in the refrig, or the personal welcome card or the amazing beds with super comfy pillows and sheets. We had such a wonderful time.

Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

This location is exactly as advertised. A wonderful space to share with family. We had 4 adults and 5 kids - the pool and garage was perfect for entertaining after the beach or our round of golf at Seascape. This house is about a 9iron away from the second green. Screened in balcony over looking the golf course was an awesome start to each day. Very clean with everything you need for your stay. We only had 1 minor issue, with the garage refrigerators not on when we got there. The host called and helped us reset the electrical outlet and the fridges fired right up. 5 stars all around.

We had a great mother/daughter stay at Pier-a-Vida! The place was so comfortable and cutely decorated; spotless upon arrival. Everything we’d need for a fun beach stay—beach towels, chairs, bikes, outdoor space for eating/hanging out; comfortable beds and a welcome starter set that was so thoughtful. We loved the closeness to beach (parking pass!) and that it was walkable to the bay—sunsets!! Would definitely come back! It’s a fun area, lots to do and the hosts (Teresa and John) were thoughtful and responsive.

Sarah was a fantastic host, very responsive and offering local places to check out while we were there. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. The home was clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was such a a quiet, peaceful little area. We loved lounging in the hammock!

Diane’s place was very clean, nicely decorated and as advertised. The deck and stairs to the beach were great and outdoor shower/foot faucet helped keep the home clean. Her home is within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment as well as a quiet place to relax. I highly recommend Diane’s place. We will definitely return. Thanks Diane!

This was the perfect hub for our OBX trip. Centrally located to easily go north to Duck/Corolla/Currituck Wildlife Refuge as well as south to Hatteras. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed included a fully stocked kitchen. We loved walking to the sound for sunset and running along the water in the morning. Great stay!

Lots of space, clean, and beautiful. There were discounts for a number of local businesses, and the location was perfect for beach access. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Libby was a great host! She was proactive in reaching out and was very responsive. The space was adorable, clean and a perfect location. We would go back in a heart beat and definitely recommend to others!

Loved the house. Very peaceful neighborhood and the hosts are very welcoming. If you have any questions, the hosts are very helpful. This is perfect for a family. It does have another bed in the living room and its very spacious. First time being on the outer banks and it was a good experience.
