Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kilifi

What a beautiful beautiful place. The pictures don’t do the house justice and Tiwi is a beach that is still as gorgeous as it was 30 years ago. No beach boys, no grief just lovely people everywhere. We snorkelled, swam in the pool, swam in the sea, played on the beach, rock pool hunted on the reef. Saw amazing starfish, moray eel, box fish and 3 types of sea hare as well as the “usual stuff”. We missed turtles hatching by 24 hours, but watched one come up to lay her eggs . The perfect place to spend a few days with the family chilling, talking and reconnecting. The verandah at the front is the best hub place. Then food - Anthony creates magic in the kitchen. Fresh fish, fruit and his tempura squid with coriander and soy sauce was delish. Fred the taxi driver is great and as a mixed family of 6 we could be as active and busy or not as we chose. The best way to end a trip to Kenya and as a previous resident it was perfect -Asante Tanya xx

I had the pleasure of staying at Cocos Paradise in Diani, and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and lush, tropical surroundings. It's the perfect getaway if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Kenyan coast. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and swaying palm trees. The garden is beautifully kept and offers plenty of space to relax and even kids to play. What really stood out to me was the hospitality , the host & staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay feel personal and welcoming. From arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see if we needed anything, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Cocos Paradise as quiet, charming, & affordable spot in Diani,. I’ll definitely be coming back!

An incredible house in a beautiful garden. We loved sitting outside by the pool and using the upstairs area. Host was very helpful and accommodating. We had a fantastic time. No complaints at all!

Lovely appartment just in front of the beach and close to all amenities. Very good communication with Alessandro who was always prompt to responding to queries. The A/C in the room was much appreciated! The nearby hôtels are a bit noisy over the week end. Overall a very pleasant experience!

The place was absolutely serene, quiet and so good for a business traveler like me. The quietness enabled me work so smoothly both at night and early morning. The house was also quite comfortable. The bedroom cosy.

The house is spacious and has an absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean from the living room balcony. The onsite manager, Juma, was very nice and helpful and was an awesome tour guide for our excursions (snorkeling, dolphin watching, and sunset cruise) Host was responsive and was quick to address any issues. Would book again

I had a great experience staying at Nicholas’ place. The apartment is exactly as appears in the photos and is clean and cozy. The host was friendly, responsive and ensured I had everything I needed, including amazing recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. I’d definitely stay here again!

We liked our stay very much! Very big place for ourselves with kind staff. Efrat also knows many contacts to make the stay more comfortable (drivers, chefs etc.) The private chef was a new and very affordable experience which we enjoyed very much.

Really enjoyed my stay. Gianni was very clear in his instructions and everything was set up just as we had asked for. Kashuru, the groundskeeper, is a great guy and very friendly. I also recommend you use Morris the Chef. An extra 1500 Kshs/day but his food is delicious and you can easily get groceries.

Fabulous little important, in a peaceful area close to the beach. Adhiambo was an incredible host too, always easily contactable and flexible. Charming place to stay in Kilifi. Only (small) issue was with apartment wifi. I went to Kilifi for a four week work trip and the internet was not great for calls so had to hotspot from my phone a lot. OK in general (emails/browsing) but not strong enough for calls. But there is some excellent places/cafes near by with good internet coverage. And when there were a few power cuts Adhiambo was incredibly helpful and responsive with updates.

Fiona is a lovely lady. The instructions for finding the place and checking in are very clear and helpful. Nyali has many beautiful places to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and clubbing. Her property is lovely and very well looked after. I would recommend that people who want to visit Mombasa choose Fiona's place.

We only stayed at the Airbnb for one night but it all worked out. The place has everything you need for a short stay, is clean and very close to the beach.

Emmanuel is a SUPERHOST. I had the best experience ever as a traveler. He arranged for my pickup from the SGR. By the time I arrived in Mombasa, I had all instructions to access the apt. The place was just as seen in the photos, pristine spotless clean. The bed sheets & towels were changed at free cost. The cleaners were thorough and very respectful. Emmanuel went above and beyond excellence to make my stay memorable. He even introduced me to a delivery person, so I was never hungry. At some point, the microwave stopped working & within no time, it was replaced with a new one. I have never seen this kind of efficiency. Communicating with Emmanuel via text or calls was top notch with quick responses. Customer service satisfaction is AAA+++. To sum up, Emmanuel is the BEST AIRBNB HOST. He deserves an excellence award. He serves with passion, compassion, is unbeatable & incomparable. I will definitely be staying at his place again and also recommend him to others.
