Such a beautiful setting in the “country”! Jim’s estate is beautiful. If not for the rain, we’d have been exploring his gardens. Room was very comfortable. Jim is a lot of fun to get to know. We’d love to visit again someday.

We loved our stay at Betty’s place! She gave us a very warm welcome, with everything we needed for our 2 year old and shared a pint of Guinness with us too. Lovely view out over the mountains and great proximity to some wonderful hikes. Plus only an hour from Dublin. Strongly recommend staying here if you’re looking for an escape to the great outdoors. What a beautiful cottage and Rita is an amazing host. We were lucky enough to meet her on arrival and were overwhelmed with her kindness and all the beautiful welcome gifts including a basket of amazing goodies - freshly made bread, chocolates, home made scones, cream, strawberries and wine - the list goes on. The cottage is just so beautiful with an outstanding level of detail - from Molton Brown bathroom products to bath robes and slippers. The bedding was crisp and the beds so comfy and the stylish additions made this cottage a gorgeous retreat. The Magnolia tree is the garden was in bloom and just made the setting. There is plenty of parking and all the amenities were spot on. If you stay at. Curran Cottage, you can expect a hotel level property with a host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. We cannot rate this place highly enough.

The room was spacious and spotless, fresh smelling bed linen which is always a good sign. Bathroom was spotless with great shower pressure. Marian leaves tea and coffee making along with fruit and biscuits. How often do you get a chance to make a cuppa tea and enjoy it in bed before starting your day. The location is so peaceful, quiet and calm. After being out for the day it was just lovely to come back to it.

Kevin was extremely helpful. The house was easy to book, easy to find, spacious and clean. No complaints whatsoever. Great stay.

Niamh welcomed us with a big smile and got us to our room in no time. We had tea and cake to start us off, most lovely, especially sitting outside looking at the stunning view over te lake. The room was neat, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Niamh recommended some really good places to have dinner, we went to the balimore Inn (very nice) We had a delicious breakfast the next day, perfect to start our day. We didn't have time to walk the trail to the lake, but we'll do that next time because are certainly coming back! We loved it!

We were very well hosted by Catherine with tea and homemade cookies in a very beautiful home in a quiet area. The view is magical. Breakfast was just fabulous with only fresh and homemade products. The living room available to guests is great. Catherine really knows how to welcome her guests while remaining very respectful. The night was very restful. We'll go back without any hassle.

Jean welcomed us very warmly, we had just landed in Dublin 3 hours before and the warmth of this first contact delighted us. All the service was impeccable, as described, but better! Comfortable and cozy bedding, remarkable cleanliness, hearty Irish breakfast. Thank you Jean, it's a great memory!

Driving along narrow roads with high hedgerows and handsome gated homes, we discovered Helen's home in a beautiful, equestrian oriented, lush part of the countryside. Not accessible by public transport, it is however close to Punchestown Racecourse and near to the internationally renowned, The Curragh Racecourse. Helen was receptive to our messages and on hand to greet us. She gave advice on where to dine at that hour on a Sunday. Eating in her guestroom is not allowed. The bed in this room was huge compared to others we'd encountered in Ireland, and we slept soundly. There are drawers, a coat rack is the only hanging space. The bathroom is a couple of steps down. There is a sunken bath in the photos but it is not in use, just the walk-in shower. Breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, cereal and a pot of tea/coffee is enjoyed in her warm kitchen, and conservatory, before kind farewells.

We had a fantastic stay at Gregory''s place! The room was spotless, and the location was perfect for us. Gregory was super responsive. Great place to stay bus route to Dublin 24hrs train station 15 min walk 10.50 euro for two return last train back 2015hrs takes 20mm to get there nice friendly people. Would stay again
