Hazels Hut has a luxury double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and ready supply of wood, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated, shower room is close by along a short path adjacent to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs.

Traditional shepherd hut in beautiful rural location. Oak flooring, woodburner, feather duvet & pillows, wool blankets. Outside seating area with fire pit/barbeque, cosy blankets & cushions. Woodburner & fire pit. Tea, coffee & fresh milk provided. Desk & chair in the hut suitable as a workspace. PS we are currently renovating our 17c cider mill and so it is shrouded in scaffolding and weather protective wrap so not so pretty to look at….please bear with us.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.

The Loft Apartment

Spacious first-floor furnished loft apartment (outside stairs, rather steep) above our garages in delightful quiet rural locality, good area to explore. Suit couple or couple with one child. Double bed, single bed, kitchenette, and separate shower/toilet room. Off road parking. Extra charges are applied for more than two people, and for pets. Separate (50m) from the main house, and therefore offers great privacy. Some access to the garden.

The Woodman's Bothy

A rural retreat tucked away on a hillside at the edge of the forest where you can relax in front of the wood burning stove or enjoy the views of the beautiful Hope Mansell valley by the fire pit. This rustic hideaway is perfect for a romantic break or as a base for walkers and cyclists wanting to explore The Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean. Ross on Wye (10 mins), Monmouth (20 mins) and the cathedral city of Hereford (45 mins).

Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families and dogs welcome too. With wonderful walks and trails right on the doorstep for either gentle strolls or for more serious ramblers. The Forest of Dean offers lots of activities from high ropes to cycling and canoeing.
