Monthly Rentals in Kielder Water

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A really lovely little bothy in a beautiful spot. Perfect for a weekend break. We were breaking a journey north but it would be ideal for a few days walking or cycling. Thanks so much Marcelle and Alan and the dogs!

Absolutely stunning cottage in extremely remote location. We had such a great week staying at The Bothy. Stephen and Dawn are very welcoming and relaxed hosts who are offering a truly unique stay in the forest. The cottage is extremely remote, but there is plenty to do in the area, including - cycling, walking and some great restaurants. We would love to come back.

The cottage was absolutely lovely. It was in a very peaceful place with lovely views over the fields. The furnishings were a mixture of old and new and very comfortable, especially the beds. Our granddaughter loved seeing the lambs and hens around the cottage. Hexham is nearby and we visited there after going to Chesters Roman Fort - well worth a visit. We had beautiful weather so our weekend stay was just perfect. I would recommend Stables Cottage to anyone.

We loved our stay, the house is beautiful, the beds comfy & the shower was amazing. We ate out one evening at The Pheasant Inn (would recommend) and then cooked the second night with no problems. Would recommend
