Pubs, shops etc are within walking distance. Bellingham is nestled in the heart of Northumberland's dark skies, it is a superb base from which to discover and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Kielder Forest and the historic market town of Hexham are a short drive away. The cottage also backs onto an 18 hole golf course.

The North Pennines, Solway Coast and Scottish Borders are all close too. With its panoramic views and fully enclosed garden it is also perfect for sitting back and relaxing.

Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.

Larriston Coach House is a large four-bedroomed cottage, part of a very rural 19th century farm steading on 28 acres, with 2,500 acres of hillside starting at the doorstep. It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. There’s plenty of space, inside and out. The skies are dark, the mobile reception is zero and the silence is deafening.

Just a mile away from Kielder Reservoir we're a brilliant base for a stay in beautiful Northumberland.
