Jamie was a perfect host. The house was lovely and homely. Perfectly clean with all the appliances and amenities. ideally situated to visit Runswick, Whitby and Saltburn. Thank you for a five star stay and we hope to be back ASAP!

Ray’s lovely cottage lived up to expectations and beyond. There was ample room both inside and out. The furnishings and fittings were of a high standard and supplies of fresh , clean towels and lots of hot water was a bonus. Also the little extras to make you feel at home, tea , coffee , milk and a tea cake. I especially liked the private garden area and the lovely Summer house which was perfect for relaxing in after a days walking. Parking on site is also a big plus. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed for a week in June 2025. The accommodation is on a working farm with lovely views of the countryside and of their farm animals. Keeley was a wonderful host and even took our grandchildren who visited us from Scarborough to feed their animals which they enjoyed. You are situated close to some lovely beaches and walks on the North York Moors National Park all within a 30min drive including Whitby. Keeley and Dan are very friendly owners and we will definitely stay there again.

If you’re looking for a beautiful beach with great views and walks along the coastal path, this is idyllic. You’ll need to be ok with a bit of up and down walking, but that is all part of being where you are. We had a wonderful time and will be back. X
