Lovely cottage with with plenty of character set in a beautiful little village, Only negative thing I have is the kettle, takes 2hours to boil!!

Despite the weather being awful we loved every second of our time in the Hares Pod. Spotless, comfortable and extremely well equipped, we couldn't have wanted or needed more, there was even cold milk and water in the fridge. We will definitely go back when the weather forecast looks favourable - because the garden furniture is fantastic and we want to use every inch of space! Terry was so friendly and welcoming when we arrived and made us feel immediately at home. He provided some excellent recommendations for us to try out during our two day trip and we enjoyed them immensely. The cabin is absolutely superb - really charming decor, with loads of interesting nick-nacks that make it feel really homely. The bed was very comfortable (and I have a bad back and rarely get on with any beds away from home) and the bathroom was small but perfectly formed (the reed diffuser used in there smelled so good we immediately ordered some to be delivered to our home). We enjoyed a BBQ on both evenings we were there, using a really cool BBQ / chimenia contraption, sitting on the deck overlooking the neighbouring field and surrounded by beautifully planted up pots. We saw so much wildlife - I saw more hares in one evening than I have in my entire life before hand - I real treat. I cannot recommend this place more highly - we will definitely be back.
