Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kennebec County

If you want a private, well furnished home in the woods with fishing access on the stream and 2 fire pits this is your place!! Staying at this house made a work trip for my crew and I, feel like we were on vacation for 2 nights while staying there. Worth the money and great hosts!

The location is gorgeous and peaceful, so close to the water so that we could enjoy it right out the window, or down at the dock. The weather was too rainy for paddling but we heard the loons. The space is comfortable and Mark had so many nice touches that made us feel welcome. We hope to be back!

The house was great and matched what the description was. Very spacious and everything needed. Matthew was also very responsive when I had questions. Would stay there again for sure!

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and Host was very responsive, the setting matched the description 100%. Peceful sleeping with the water hitting the beach and the call of the Loon heard throughout the night. Can’t wait to return another day!!

The area where Sofia has her Airbnb is a close favorite to Vienna where I spent many summers at my father’s camp. It is a beautiful home and very close to the water. My family came from as far away as Australia to be there for my father’s interment in the Mt. Vernon community cemetery. Sofia was gracious and allowed our extended family to stop and say hi to our grandchildren. We had three generations staying in Sofia’s beautiful and comfortable home with plenty of space to spread out. Sofia’s kitchen is a dream and has plenty of counter space to prepare a delicious Saturday afternoon meal, and we took full advantage. Sofia also let us stay on a moments notice because our VRBO rental cancelled us the morning we were all supposed to be arriving there. We appreciate Sofia’s quick response to our need. Sofia’s rental was much bigger and nicer to accommodate all of us.

What a place. So many great things to do. We swam and fished in the lake, the kayaks and canoes were so much fun and at night we sat by the fire pit and played table hockey.The house had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and answered all questions quickly.

We had a wonderful graduation weekend in Waterville. The house and location were perfect! Chelsea and Andrew were so helpful and terrific hosts!

nice place to stay in the Waterville area. Super responsive host. easy to find. Easy to get into. Apartment is clean and well stocked, coffee maker, kitchen stuff etc. lots of towels... it is above attached garage to family house. pretty view out back.

This is a very clean, nicely appointed place to visit Waterville or Colby College from. The place had the fun look you see in the pictures and had everything we needed. Comfy bed and comfy futon. We will likely be back.

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Joyce and her husband were very welcoming and communicative from booking to checking out. Very clean, new, and quie space. You can tell that this space was throughly thought out to be an ideal air bnb.. Towels, snacks, and toieltries were stocked for use. Card games and Tvs in everyroom. Joyce's home is so welcoming and convenient. It combines a spacious and comfortable living environment that makes you feel like you never left home.

I believe the description said it did not have heat and hot water but it certainly does. Huge kitchen with lots of empty cabinets. A family could move in here easily and have huge dinners and stay for a week. Wouldn’t take much to make it three bedrooms for sleeping with a couple of air beds in the bare rooms. The main bedroom is huge with a walk-in closet.

Enjoyed my stay while I was there. You get a great sense of privacy!

Really cute A-frame, just like the pictures. Everything was spotless and we especially appreciated having tv as it was a rainy day when we arrived. If you’re looking for a glamping experience this is as good as it gets. Peaceful, private, clean with all amenities!

Sophie was a fantastic host that was extremely responsive and specific with instructions. The cabin is in a beautiful location, private area, and cozy inside. The space was extremely clean and comfortable!

Our staying was amazing. I have stayed in many AirBnBs and this was by far the best. It had anything and everything we needed and more. Absolutely stunning location and home. Sha was very responsive and accomodating. We will definitely be back.

David is an incredibly helpful and gracious host. He is clear in communicating how to find the camp, provided us help to make pizza dough (bringing us equipment!), had great cookbooks, had drink making equipment, and when my husband lost his hearing aids in the water, spent 30 mins with his snorkel looking for them. You can't ask for nicer host. The camp itself is well equipped and very comfortable. Did I mention it has A/C and a dishwasher? Conveniences not normally found when you're so close to the water. The well water was great and the beds comfortable.

Jamie and Jed’s Webber Pond Cabin felt like home as soon as we walked in. The thoughtful touches, cozy atmosphere, cleanliness, beautiful setting and decor, and wonderful support from the host made this one of our favorite Airbnb experiences. We look forward to staying again in the future! ❄️

I've stayed in a lot of AirBnBs over the years, and I have my favorites, but I can confidently say that David's cabin has skyrocketed up to the top two in my list after just one stay! The cabin is easy to find, close enough to town to pick up good groceries or access shopping/restaurants, yet private enough to feel like you're getting away. David is super responsive and provided lots of helpful info at checkin and in the guide binder. The cabin and property are GORGEOUS! Beautiful waterfront views and access, super peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is well supplied with everything you could need: cooking supplies, games, karaoke, TV, books, zero gravity chairs, the works! Very thoughtfully appointed and well maintained. Cabin was also spotless and very easy to settle into, and easy to keep clean myself throughout my stay (something that is very important to me). Truly, this property is a gem -- I will definitely book again!
